我是申请人xxx，一九九九年六月毕业于###大学外国语学院英语专业，并获得文学学士学位，现申请赴贵国攻读国际贸易硕士学位课程。
英语是我大学时的主修专业，为此我投入了巨大的热情与努力，并在学业上取得了显著的成绩――每次考试成绩都保持在班级前五名的位置。此外，为了开阔眼界、丰富学识，我还广泛地阅读各类最新的报刊杂志。我对国际贸易的兴趣正是从那时开始的。因为我认识到，随着全球经济一体化的日益推进，无论是发达国家还是不发达的国家都将面临着越来越多的挑战。作为世界上人口最多的国家，我国在国际经济体系中扮演着极其重要的角色，而中国一旦加入世贸组织，将会给国际贸易市场带来巨大的冲击。为此，我在大学期间就选修了国际贸易、国际商法等课程，掌握了一些相关的知识。
大学毕业后，我进入###市西郊工业物资公司工作，担任总经理助理至今。西郊公司主要经营金属材料、建筑材料、水暖器材以及五金配件的批发、零售及代购代销业务。作为总经理助理，我的主要工作是协助总经理处理公司业务往来和日常事务的管理。虽然总经理是我父亲，但是我丝毫没有放松对自己的要求。我首先从较小的业务入手，虚心地向资深员工学习业务经验；同时，我购买了相关的书籍学习，从理论上进一步充实自己。我还经常跟随总经理参与各种业务商谈，从中我不仅学习到很多业务技巧，还让我认识到贸易不只是一个简单的概念和过程，它还包含着许多的金融、法律知识，涉及到相当广泛的领域。特别是随着公司的发展壮大，我们必将逐渐步入更为广阔的国内和国际贸易市场中，接受更加激烈的行业竞争。我深感有必要学习、掌握先进的贸易理论知识和经验，为迎接
新的挑战做好更为充分的准备。为此，我萌发了去国外先进国家攻读国际贸易硕士学位的想法。
在经过认真的考虑后，我最终选择了贵国――澳大利亚作为我的留学之地。首先澳大利亚是一个社会安定、人民友好的发达国家，国际经济贸易往来频繁，是我学习国际贸易知识与经验的最佳地点；其次，贵国大学素以一流的师资和教学闻名世界，是我学习进修的理想校园。如果能有机会到贵国学习，我一定会抓住这个宝贵的机会，吸取贵国先进的国际贸易知识，为将来的事业打下坚实的理论基础。学成后，我将立即回到现在的工作岗位，把所学的知识和经验运用到公司的业务发展中，带领公司稳步迈向国际市场。
