My name is Zuo Qian, I am a student in Xi’an International Studies University, Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, and I major in English Language and Literature.As an English learner, I know the best way to study language is to experience it, by chance I found “UC San Diego Overseas Courses Program” in the website of my university.Then I searched online and found UCSD is a good university, so I was very excited and wanted to seize this chance.UC San Diego is an academic powerhouse and economic engine, recognized as one of the top 10 public universities by U.S.News and World Report.And San Diego is the one of the finest cities.With its great weather, miles of sandy beaches, and major attractions.San Diego is known worldwide as one of the best tourist destination.My plan is as follows: after I arrive in UCSD, I will start my 4-week course, majoring in Second Language Learning from August 5th to August

30th.My purpose is improving my English study, and UCSD will train me to pursue it.I will live in the dormitory with other three girls.I am sure we will have a good time.What’s more, after finishing the course, I will take my spare time to visit the city and have fun.Besides, my parents both have job and rich income, so they will support me to finish my study.After finishing my study, I will return to my homeland and continue my undergraduate study in my university.
