[摘要] 高考阅卷使我从另一个角度来审视英语书面表达的教学。

今年6月9号 到19号,我在学校的推荐下有幸参加了2012 年湖北省高考英语作文网上阅卷工作,收获颇多。此次阅卷使我有机会从另一个角度来审视英语书面表达的教学,更是对我以往的英语教学进行了一次洗礼,所以归来之后迫不急待地想与大家一起分享这十几天的阅卷感受。

今年湖北考生46.2万人,英语阅卷教师215人,由三部分人员组成:高校教授,在读研究生,中学教师。每个阅卷人员都有一个用户名和密码,凭用户名和密码才能登入,登入后每个阅卷人员的一举一动都处在组长及专家组成员的监视中,你离线几分几秒,你阅卷的总量,平均速度,有效度,吻合度,自评率等等各项指标随时随地在电脑里都有反映。根据这套评分系统,每份答卷至少由两名人员评分,而且彼此看不到对方的分数,两名人员不是固定组合,电脑随机派送。如两人所给分数在一定的范围内(误差不超过3到4分),那就是有效分数,两个分数加起来取平均分,就是该答卷的最后得分。如两人所给分数超出一定的范围,由第三个人阅卷,取在范围内的平均值,就是该答卷的最后得分。如还不行,比如一人给6分,一人给10分,一人给14分,无法确定,则四评,也就是由专家组仲裁,最后给定分数。这样,相对来说,英语作文的打分是相对公平的,草菅人命的现象不多。以下是我结合此次阅卷进行的分析总结:

一、高考作文

请你根据以下提示,并结合事例,用英语写一篇短文。You cannot choose what you are given, but you can choose how you make use of it.注意:①无须写标题,不得照抄英语提示语; ②除诗歌外,文体不限;

③文中不得透露个人姓名和学校名称; ④词数为120左右

二、评分原则

①本题总分为30分,按5个档次给分。(接受满分及零分作文)

② 词数少于100,纳入评分考虑范围,酌情给分。(往年对字数偏多的给予减分,今年不做要求)③ 评分时,先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次,然后以该档次的要求来衡量,确定或调整档次,最后给分。评分档次的确定应在内容符合题目要求的前提下侧重于语言的表达。(往年侧重内容要点,今年注重语言流畅和优美)

④评分时,应注意的主要内容为:内容切题,词汇和语法结构的准确性和多样性,上下文连贯性及语言的得体性。(主要强调语句优美,如果没有具体事例,也不予减分)

⑤拼写与标点符号是语言表达准确性的一个方面,评分时,应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英,美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。

⑥如书写太潦草,以致影响辨认,将分数降低一个档次。(要求学生书写整洁,但无权对书写糟糕的卷面减分)

三、各档次的给分范围和要求 第五档 25-30分

完全完成了试题规定的任务。--所有内容与提示吻合--应用了较丰富的语法结构和词汇

--语法结构与词汇应用准确,虽有个别错误,但不影响意义的表达;具备较强的语言运用能力--恰当使用了语句间的连接成分,全文结构紧凑 完全达到了预期的写作目的 第四档 19-24分

完成了试题规定的任务。--主要内容与提示吻合--应用的语法结构和词汇能满足任务的要求

--语法结构与词汇应用基本准确,个别错误对意义的表达有一定影响

--较恰当地使用了语句间的连接成分,全文结构较紧凑

达到了预期的写作目的 第三档 13-18分

基本完成了试题规定的任务。--主要内容与提示比较吻合--应用的语法结构和词汇能基本满足任务的要求--有一些语法结构与词汇的错误,对意义的表达有较大影响--基本能使用了语句间的连接成分,全文结构比较松散

整体个言,基本达到了预期的写作目的第二档 7-12分

仅完成了试题规定的部分任务。--主要内容与提示基本吻合--应用的语法结构单调,应用的词汇有限

--有较多语法结构或词汇方面的错误,影响了意义的表达

--语句间的连接成分运用不当,缺少连贯性 信息未能清楚地传达给读者

第一档 1-6分

未完成试题规定的任务。--主要内容与提示不太吻合--应用的语法结构单一,应用的词汇十分有限--有较多语法结构或词汇方面的严重错误,严重影响了意义的表达

--缺乏语句间的连接成分,内容不连贯 信息未能传达给读者 0分

未能传达给读者任何信息:内容太少,无法评判;写的内容均与所要求内容无关或所写内容无法看清

四、2012年高考作文样卷

下面是专家组给出的五档分数的文章,也是评卷过程中教师参阅的样卷。第五档(27-28分)

The things we get and the situations we are in vary from people to people.There are the rich in the world while there are the poor.There are someone who has been given many chances while there are some one who has not.Let me show you a story I have heard about from my father.In a small town, there were two twin brothers, Tom and Jim.Tom was a very noisy boy while Jim was just the opposite.Their difference aroused their parents’ interests.So they prepared different birthday gifts for them.Jim, the quiet boy, was given a bicycle.Shockingly, he burst into crying because he could not ride a bike.Tom, the happy one, got a very thick book, which he seldom likes to be seated quietly reading.Both of them were given the things they could not choose.This story really teaches me a lot because my father told me that, eventually, Jim became a skillful bicycle rider and Tom a very good reader.In our lifetime, there exist many things seemingly unexpected.However, what I want to emphasize is that whatever we have been given, we should be optimistic all the time, so that we could make full use of it.(漂漂亮亮,读来顺口。虽有个别错误,但不影响表达)第四档(21-22分)

There is an old saying that “everyone is given something, but how you make use of it makes a great difference.” I believe these words very much since I have experienced this thing.When I was studying in the middle school, I got sick and had to stay at home for two week.I felt worried because an important exam was approaching.I was afraid that I would fall behind my clamate.Although I was uncomfortable, I stuck on study everyday.Eventually, I didn’t failed and got good grades.For my example, I learn that even if I can’t study at school I also can learn good.Because I take advantages of my time at home.The fate always plays jokes on people.We are ordinary people so it is impoible for us to predict what will happen.Besides, we can only to accept what the god gives us.So when we accept the gifts, we should do our utmost to keep a smile and make great use of them.It is unwise to complain that the god is unequal, but to spare no effects to achieve your succe with them.(清清楚楚,虽隔三差五有错,但都是不小心犯的错误,且文章错少对多)第三档(15-16分)

Everyone is different.Everyone’s thought is different.You can’t choose what you are given , but you can use what you have.Used your hands, your confidence, your heart to get what you wanted.I came from a countryside, My family was wrong, but my father sent me to school.He wants me study knowledges.He often said to me : “If you want to get what you wanted, you must used your hands to get it.And don’t worried you can’t choose what you are given, Believe in yourself that you could get it, providing that you make best used of what you are given.So everything isn’t difficult, nothing is difficult.you need choose how you faced it.And used what you have to solved it.Only in this way can you come to succe from the bad things.(马马虎虎,句子半对半错)第二档(9-10分)

Recently, we’ve had a discuion somethings whether adivids that we should be hard to work or study.You can shoose what you are given and make use of it.Nowadays, given has a problem we have to face.We don’t know what you are given can choose.But you should know how to make use of it.It’s very important.We must be realized something we should get.And we have to hard work or study;You can get it.We should care about myself, job performance doesn’t care about what we get.Things aren’t always looks appearing good.Se we should find a way that we can choose how you make use of it.Whatever, what you are given.It’s good.(糊里糊涂,这类文章是隔三差五句子有点对,在绝望中给人又带来了一丝希望)第一档(3-4分)

I often listen the teacher said: we cannot chooce what our are given, but we can choose our make use of it.The alarm clock announces the start of busy everyday.We begain make use of given.Usually, we make many have a good thins work.For example, people for future his dream, he always make about his dream thins.So do I.I always is busy.Because I want make use given.Offcuse, we always make a little mistake.But if we don’t care about it, We coun’t have done something So sometimes, I don’t best make use given.What do you think? I hope you can best make use given, and you?(一塌糊涂)

五、作文解析

今年的湖北英语高考作文命题思路和前几年相比,变化并不大,仍属半开放性作文,体现了高考命题的稳定性。要求考生用英语提示语,结合事例进行个性化解读与阐释。简练的提示内容和开放式的写作要求赋予考生更为广阔的思维空间,从对英语提示的理解到对写作素材的选择,再到文章的谋篇布局、字词句段,思维容量丰富,既考查了考生语言的实际应用能力,又考查了他们对生活的感受能力和情感认知能力——这也是按照《课程标准》的要求对“情感态度”实施的显性考查。以下是高考参考范文:

Three years ago I failed an important exam in my life and became a student in an ordinary school.Disappointed as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped claroom, I found the teachers patient and considerate.Besides, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in cla.I decided to make the best of it.I worked hard and got along well with my teachers and clamates.Whenever I had difficulties, they were always available.Soon, I became one of the top students in my cla, which greatly increased my confidence and got me motivated.My experience tells me that it is not what you are given but how you make use of it that determines who you are.该文章从自身事例说起,讲述一个自己无法选择而又必须要面对的事实。最后总结出自身努力的重要性,无论我们将要面对什么或遇到什么困难,自身的坚持和不懈的努力是解决问题的方法和获得成功的关键。范文中长难句和简单句交错使用,使得文章看起来紧张有序,并不乏味。需要注意的: 1.描述过去的时态,过去时的运用。

2.分词的使用可以成为文章亮点,分词可以表示原因,伴随,时间,让步等等。均可以在文章中得到体现。

3.像“润滑剂”一样可以保持语流顺畅的连接词必不可少,如范文中的 “besides” “so soon”等。4.恰当使用复杂句,范文中用到让步状语从句,宾语从句和定语从句等;令文章显得不枯燥,文笔优雅。高考满分作文:

When I was young, my mother told me that I should not take anything I receive for granted.As I grew up, I got it through.Unle we have an optimistic mind, we will lose heart because of the difficulties.For my part, it is ridiculous to complain how bad situation is.Since we are given those, we should face it with courage.Take myself for example.Once I failed in an important exam, which made me almost desperate about my future.However, my mother appeared.That night she talked with me a lot about everything in daily life, which made me quite relaxed.At last, she told me that in some time, danger can be chance and setbacks can be progre.After that, I remember to keep up an optimistic mind towards my life.What we are given can’t be ungiven.So why not consider how to make good use of it now? 值得一提的是,考生主要涉及的话题: ①初入新环境,利用新环境锻炼自己。

②来自农村或贫困山区,利用它激励自己努力学习去改变自己当前的处境。

③考试失利,从失利中明白自己的不足之处。④身残志坚,利用逆境磨练。(如刘伟)⑤从不愿意做的一件事中得到了新的收获。

六、考生在书面表达中暴露的主要问题:

通过这次阅卷,我发现考生在书面表达上存在着一些典型的错误,归纳如下:

① 审题不认真,偏离主题,信息理解错误

② 抓不住写作要点,文章内容混乱

③ 用词不准确,汉语式表达方式比比皆是

④ 语言基本功不扎实,语法错误严重

⑤ 书写不规范,卷面不整洁

⑥ 抄袭现象。在今年阅卷中,我们发现有部分考生有抄袭现象,他们因为不会写,就抄完形填空和阅读理解中的段落和相关的句子。而且有的人是智能抄袭:有的是写一句抄一句,汉堡式的抄袭;有的是全部糅杂在一起,色拉式的抄袭。这类作文最后的评判全部为0分。

下面是我摘录的一些反复出现的典型错误: ①As it is known to us that„

②In ten years ago my brother like toy car.③I am very like „.④„ but you didn’t at home.⑤I and him are go to shopping„ ⑥ I often listen the teacher said:„

在今年的高考阅卷中,阅卷老师喜爱的高级句型如定语从句、状语从句、名词性从句、非谓语动词等使用很少,倒装、被动语态也用得不够。

七、我们今后英语教学中应注意的问题

1.继续夯实基础,打牢基本功。加强学生对单词词组和重要句型的反复记忆。俗话说:万丈高楼平地起。没有正确的单词词组的堆积,没有恰当的句型结构的串联,书面表达只是空中楼阁。很难想象一篇单词拼写错误较多的文章,其语篇结构会很好,语言会优美。而且高考对词汇量的要求又在逐年增加,所以,我们要加强对学生单词记忆的指导督促和检查。2.要从基础做起,对应知应会的基础词汇的含义、用法要透彻地理解,并能准确运用;对基本句型的结构和用法也应烂熟于心。

3.鼓励学生利用早读和周末时间,适当读一些原汁原味的英语材料,适当记忆、背诵一些难度适宜、体裁多样、题材各异、语言地道的小短文;这样用起来时就能信手捏来。平时要多练习一些贴近生活,贴近实际的作文题目。

4.平时的写作训练,要因材施教。对于那些英语基本功好,底子扎实的同学,在写作时要着重指导他们在要点全面,词汇高级,连接手段,语言优美等方面下组功夫,力争在高考中拿高分;对于那些中等英语水平的同学,指导他们在写作时要点全面,尽量语法正确,语句连贯,用自己有把握的单词;对于那些英语水平较差的同学,不要支持他们在考试中投机取巧(例如搞拼盘式的抄袭),而要鼓励他们在练习或考试时首先看清题目要求,尽量使用简单句,尽量使用自己会的单词和语法,才能尽量多得分。

5.加强每次测验和大型考试前对学生的应试方法和技巧的指导。(1)草拟提纲

考生认真审题后,如果不是因为时间关系,最好不要急于往答题卷上书写,可以留出3分钟左右的时间,先在草稿纸上列一个小提纲,构思好想使用的词汇和句子,建立起作文的基本框架。之后,再快速通一遍,进行修改定稿。这样再往卷面上写,就会相对地使作文写得更出色一些,增加得分的几率。(2)要点完整

考生如果想拿到高分,必须按照要求在作文中覆盖试题规定的所有内容要点,完成试题任务,达到预期的写作目的。在写作时,考生应该留心是否要点完整,是否有要点遗漏。在题示要点完整的前提下,考生可以作文材料为中心进行适当地发挥,适当补充一部分相关内容,以期使作文更加完美。(3)按部就班

考生应该对高考持平常心,对待英语书面表达也是如此。在写作时,考生应该按照平常老师的要求和个人的写作习惯来完成书面表达试题所要求的任务就可以了。千万不要打破常规,追求所谓的标新立异,因为这样做,往往会适得其反,不但不能出色地完成书面表达的任务,而且最终拿不到自己心目中理想的作文分数。(4)卷面整洁

英语书面表达毕竟是一项主观性试题,评分过程中就会难免有很多主观因素。漂亮的字体,干净整洁的卷面会使人赏心悦目,无疑会给考生的作文增色不少。因此,考生在写作时要注意书写规范,字体工整,保持卷面整洁,忌潦草凌乱,乱涂乱改。(5)避开错误

考生在作文当中如果错词、错句、病句出现的太多,则会直接影响表达的效果和成绩。在写作时,考生应该尽可能地减少错误,避免出现汉字、拼音、空格等低级错误,尽量避开自己使用起来没有把握的单词和句子。如果为了追求句式的变化而出现了一些本来可以避免的错误,就得不偿失了。在保证准确的前提下,考生才可以考虑句式的变化,应用较多的语法结构。(6)控制篇幅

高考作文评分原则已经明确指出,考生作文词数少于100词和多于140词的,从总分中减去2分。由此看来,词数不够是要扣分的,而且也并不是词数写得越多就越好。因此,考生在写作时一定要按照评分原则的要求来完成写作任务,严格控制好词数,严格控制好作文的篇幅。(7)行文紧凑

考生在写作时,可以在作文中穿插使用一些过渡性词语。这样会使作文条理清楚,连贯自然,行文紧凑。例如: 表示列举和顺序的:firstly, secondly, thirdly, besides, then, lastly, for one thing, for another thing, at the start, etc.表示让步关系的:anyway, anyhow, whatever, whenever, however, though, in any case, in spite of that, after all, all the same, etc.表示时间过渡的:now, suddenly, later, meanwhile, soon, suddenly, in the meanwhile, etc.表示概括总结的:in a word, in conclusion, in short, to sum up, etc.表示同位关系的:in other words, for example, namely, that is to say, for instance, that is, etc.表示增补和引申的:also, in addition, what’s more, to make things worse, moreover, etc.(8)仔细复查

在答题卷上写完书面表达之后,再仔细复查一下是写作中不可缺少的一个重要环节。通过复查,考生可以及时发现由于粗心大意而出现的一些完全可以避免的错误。例如单复数、拼写、搭配、时态、标点符号等方面的错误。这一类错误在复查时很容易发现,也容易改正,这样就进一步提高了书面表达的准确性。最后,我引用阅卷组长给我们中学老师的几句精辟的话语结束我的文章:多背名言警句,多看英文报刊,慎用繁复形式,短文力求完整,选用惯用语句!
