Status of Chinese Education

Today I will briefly talk about two main present problems existing in the Chinese Education.Firstly,There is no doubt that the university entrance exam is the most important point in billions of Chinese senior high school students’ livehood.In China,entering a prestigious university means ideal job,great salary and so on.They spend two-thirds of their high school life to learn new knowledge,and then,it may take them 1 year or even more to review the limited knowledge repeatedly.But you know,what we have learned in high school is almost usele in our daily life,especially the sciences field.What’s worse,because of the separation of sciences and arts,Chinese students may suffer from the lack of knowledge balance.Secondly,as we can see,there is an obviously gap of development of economy between the west and the east.Unfortunately,it is similar in the education field.The students in the coastal area are able to get better education.Moreover,it is convient for them to go abroad to receive further education.On the contray,the students in the rural area may be too poor to get their textbooks and available clarooms.There are still many problems left unsolved in Chinese education.Therefore,we should do all that we can to deal with it.中国教育现状

今天我想要简明扼要地谈一谈在当今中国教育中存在的两个主要问题。

首先，毫无疑问的是，高考对于中国的高中生来说，是他们人生中最重要的一个转折点。在中国，进入一所重点大学就意味着一份理想的工作，好的收入等等等等。他们用自己高中生活的三分之二时间去学习新的知识。之后再用一年甚至更多的时间去重复地复习这些有限的知识。但是你们都知道，我们在高中学习的知识在日常生活中几乎是毫无用处，尤其是一些理科的知识。

更糟糕的是，由于文理分科，中国的学生所要面对的是自己知识结构的不平衡。

其次，我们都知道中国东西部的经济存在着很大的差异。不幸的是，在教育领域也是如此。在沿海地区的学生能够们能够得到更好的教育。而且出国留学对于他们来说也是很方便的事情。相反，农村地区的孩子却有可能因为贫困无法拥有自己的课本和可用的教室。

中国的教育制度中还有很多问题没有解决。因此，我们每个人都应该贡献自己的一份力量。
