Why are you so clever?What factors affect our intelligence?Genetic factor or environment factor,there is always a fierce debate about the influence factors of intelligence.I aume that genes play a major role,and environment plays a secondary role.So,don’t take your intelligence for granted.For example,studies indicate that genes strongly influence our brain develops especially in the early years of life when the brain is taking shape.Genetic factors are crucial,but which doesn’t mean that our intelligence can perform well.I believe that intelligence is affected by the environment factors,which includes health and family upbringing,as well as education.Scientists have found out different results when two identical twins are put in different environments,they send one of them to a modern city and the other to a backward village.A few years later,the children who live in favorable environments develop his intelligence better than the other one who grow up in unfavorable environments.This show the effect of environments on intelligence though intelligence is mainly depends on genes.From my point of view,there is one area where parents can help children to develop their intelligence.For instance,parents can provide a stimulating environment for their children.If parents encourage their children to do something that are benefit for intellectual development,then your children are likely to become more intelligent.Remember that one’s intelligence not only with genetic,but also have a certain relationship with environments.
