摘要：小学英语教学越来越受社会的关注，学生和家长也越来越重视英语在学习中的重要性。英语教学的改革不容忽视，英语教学应重视学生综合能力的提高，不仅要提高学生学习英语的兴趣，也要为学生以后学习英语奠定基础。
目前，小学英语教学已经成为当今教育的一个重要组成部分，作为第二语言出现的英语，无疑是小学生面临的一个巨大挑战。且小学英语教育基本上以机械记忆为主，学生对所学内容不能透彻理解，更加深了学生对英语的恐惧厌烦心理，加剧了英语教学的难度，阻碍了英语教学的发展。
不管问题有多少，归根结底要提高教学质量，还要反思我们教师、学生的情况。反思我们的课堂教学，改进我们的课堂教学，创建有特色的课堂教学，这样才能从根本上解决教学中存在的问题。
