The Olympic Games The world has a lot of different sports tournament every year.In the year of 2010, we had the World Cup game in South Africa.In the year of 2012, we will have the Olympic Games in London, the capital city of Bratain.Each four years, the Olympic Games hold at different major cities around the world.The lastest Olympic Games took place in the heart of our country, Beijing.In the summer of the year 2008.This is probably the most exciting summer of my life.Even though I did not the opportunity to watch these wonderful games at the stadium, I was the same excited as the audience when I watched them on the TV.The opening ceremony was one of the best parts of the Beijing Olympic Games.It was directed by Zhang Yimou.One of the most famous movie directors in our country.The performance was of great delicacy and it was beyond words.I gue everyone was impreed by these performers.My favorite player is Liu Xiang.Unfortunately, he couldn’t perform his game during this time.He was forced to leave the stadium due to his recent injury.I hope he will take a gold medal from the London Olympic Games.Yao Ming is another favorite player of mine.I used to wish get grow as tall as he is.But he retired last year, so I won’t to have a chance to see his game during the London Olympic Games.The new Olympic Games is going to start in 3 months.I hope our athletes will have a great performance during their games, and earn as many medals as they can.For the rest of us, I hope we are all going to enjoy our times during this summer.奥林匹克竞赛

每四年，奥运会都会在世界各地的主要城市举办。上一届奥运会在我们祖国的心脏——北京举行。2008年的那个夏天，可能是我生命中最令我兴奋的一个夏天。即使我没有机会去现场观看那些精彩绝伦的比赛，我与现场的观众一同为祖国加油，喝彩。

开幕式是北京奥运会中最让人难忘的部分之一。它由中国最著名的导演张艺谋指导。开幕式的精雕细刻让人无法用语言形容。我想，这些演员给每个人心里都留下了深刻的印象。我最喜欢的运动员是刘翔。不幸的是，他并没有参加上次的比赛。因为旧伤复发，他不得不放弃。我希望他可以在伦敦奥运会上夺冠。姚明是另一个我最喜欢的运动员。我曾希望可以长得像他一样高。但他在去年退役了，所以我失去在伦敦奥运会上看到他在球场上战斗的机会了。
