First of all, I will analyze the features of sentences and words.Although the paragraph is long, it involves many short sentences.From the point of the whole paragraph, the author uses many fixed expreion , gerund phrases and other simple sentences, such as with loud roars, he stayed on his feet, just in time for the fierce, , sank his teeth into the leader’s throat, sending four streams of blood skyward and onto the snowy and so on..I think this paragraph describes the fierce fighting, so this use can make fighting more vividly and densely , thus readers can feel the dense and fierce atmosphere from this paragraph.• Next , I will analyze the features of words.I especially appreciate the use of words.Some of them are direct, such as red-eyed , dash, and red-stained.Besides ,the use of complex words can make readers realize the features of items quickly.Also, some fixed impreions are vivid, such as knocking him back, backed up, threw a fright into and so on.Besides, I prefer the use of roar and blood skyward.Compared with shouting or crying ,roar can expre the strength.The adverb skyward is vivid.• Thirdly, I will describe author’s emotion.Although the description is vivid , the author emphasize the pack and hate the dogs.owing to his born surrounding , he lives with wolves.We can from this vision.When he describes the dog , he uses some paionate words, savage, red-eyed, red-stained and so on.Thus, we can conclude that he fears that the pack get injured.• Finally , I will analyze from the perspective of cultural-dimension-transfer.This fighting happens in the graland, so it fills the filling of conquer.this novel also has some era-marked words and expreions of the Cultural Revolution.Besides, as Lang Tuteng is set in the Mongolian graland, it is also rich in Mongolian-marked words and expreions.The whole paragraph is full of the feeling of fierce, which suits the graland’s features • That is my analyze..•
