尊敬的先生/女士：·
由中国东方音乐学会主办，宁波大学艺术学院承办，宁波市中华文化促进会协办的“第七届中国东方音乐学会国际研讨会”将于2012年11月2-6日在宁波大学艺术学院召开。
中国东方音乐学会于一九八六年成立于上海音乐学院，现为中国音乐家协会下属正式二级学会。学会成立后曾经先后召开过六届国际学术研讨会，我国著名音乐家贺绿汀曾担任该学会的名誉会长。
素仰阁下在东方音乐研究领域贡献卓著,特邀请您作为正式代表出席此次会议，请按时参会，并配合做好有关事宜。
此次会议的主题为：
1、东方音乐的形态研究。
2、面向二十一世纪的东方音乐。
一、日程安排
2012年11月2日全天报到，11月3日、4日大会主题发言、研讨，5日天一阁藏书楼、宁波博物馆和奉化溪口文化考察，6日返程。
二、确定参会
参会代表于报到时交会务费250元，参加学术考察的代表另交费用300元，往返交通费及住宿费自理，到达宁波后的交通和餐饮费用由大会负责。请阁下接到此邀请函后即填写回执确认参会，回执于2012年10月10日前寄到：

11月5日宁波/溪口文化考察按安排：
早上8：00出发游览天一阁，10:30分出发赴奉化溪口，11:20溪口用餐，下午12:00游览溪口风景区，千丈岩瀑布，妙高台，张学良第一幽静地，蒋母墓道，小洋房，文昌阁，风镐房，玉泰盐铺等景点。

The Society for Oriental Music, formed in 1986 in Shanghai, China, is pleased to announce its seventh international conference, to be held 2-6 November in Ningbo, China at Ningbo University.Those interested in Oriental musical cultures are welcome to become society members and attend the conference for an exchange of knowledge and ideas.CONFERENCE THEMES
Themes for the 7th International Conference are as follows:
1.Features of Oriental Traditional Music
2.Oriental Music in the 21st Century
PRESENTATION FORMATS
We invite two presentation formats:
1.Individual paper presentations(20 minutes in length, with 10 minutes at the end for questions)
2.Showing of ethnographic film by the filmmaker(60 minutes, to include opening remarks, the showing, followed by discuion)
LANGUAGE
Although the official language of the conference is Chinese, we welcome English presentations.Proposals can be submitted in either Chinese or English.DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS/NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
