Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, it is a great honor for me to stand here to deliver the lecture about “TV Talent Show”.With the development and popularity of media, we are exposed to a wide variety of TV Talent Shows, just like “Superman”, “Superwoman”, “China's Got Talent"„.The phenomenon seems to be natural but thought-provoking.In recent years, people in increasing

numbers choose to watch the show,（and）they claim that the stereotyped TV programs should give way to TV Talent Shows, which are more exciting, more colorful and more entertaining than the previous ones.What's more, it is believed that these shows provide people who are the least expected to be succeful in the busine called entertainment with an

opportunity to show their talents or realize their dreams by singing，dancing，playing an

instrument or other styles.Besides, they think the shows encourage people to persist in dreams, trying and trying.In a word, the shows bring us another new conception that as long as you try your best to do things, you may have the chance to make a difference.However, on the opposite, some other people hold negative opinions about it.First and foremost, the show may be exploited by some producers or businemen, being the tool（工具）of earning money.Also, the show is likely to be rather a product of artificiality(矫饰), contributing to untrue and unfair contest

results.Thirdly, instead of infusing teenagers with a sense of realism, the easine of some people being stars has a great chance to give the younger generation an illusion that everything is so easily available that they don't need to work hard at all.Lastly, the conflict between two participants might cause an escalation(恶化、加剧)in their ecstatic（狂热的）fans'relationships.In my part, though the talent show has some shortcomings, we shouldn't refuse it absolutely to avoid these harms.After all, often, when we watch them, we are moved and inspired by

performers’ insistence and courage, learning a lot from them.I think, these shows deserve to be watched.
