A Panic-purchase of Iodine Salt hit the supermarkets in most big cities in China on Mar.the 16th because a rumor clsined that eating iodine salt can help to protect people from the nuclear radiation.Some shops seized the chance to greatly raise the price of salt for profits while the consumers rushed to buy it.Meanwhile ,the government tried its best to refute{及物动词，驳斥，驳倒(某论点，对方)} the rumor promptly.Soon , the frenzy（使狂乱，使发狂 become frenzied 发狂be frenzied with joy 狂喜。）was over and the whole society returned to normal.As far as I’m concerned, I think the policy is not to follow others blindly and to always remember the saying”look before you leap”.（三思而后行。）第二节：One poible version
Mum’s Love Is Pricele
A little boy expected to get paid from his mum for what he had done.But Mum’s “No Charge” note made him aware that mum’s love is unconditional and pricele.After reading the story, I am deeply touched by what this Mum did, which can’t be measured by money.How great Mum’s love is!
It reminds me of one touching thing happening to my little cousin.When he was 10, he was attacked by a serious disease.It seemed that doctors could do nothing to save him.He could’n help being frightened and cried miserably.But his mother, my aunty, never gave up.She comforted him and attended him with all her heart.What’s more, she took great trouble doing everything to have him treated.Luckily the wonder came –my little cousin was able to be cured and lived happily ever after.From this example we can see that mum is the warmest word in everyone’s heart.What we should do is to appreciate this love whole –heartedly and love our mum in return.2011届高三肇庆市二模英语作文范文
