Mr.Xu:
This is Sophie, One of the students in New Concept English leons.I am a junior, major is Fine Art ,not be accomplished in English.I have not went to the senior high school.After the study in middle school ,I went to the normal school to go on my study.I spent 5years in the normal school ,and then I paed the examination to went to the university.我还是用中文写吧，嘿嘿。。上面想表达的意思就是，我现在是一名大三的学生，美术学专业。但是，从来没有读过高中，是初中毕业后读的五年制师范，后来通过专转本考试进入大学，直接插在大三的班里上课。所以，我是一个比较矛盾的人，虽然已经是大三了，但是很多大三的学生应该掌握的知识我还是不行。最明显的就是英语。我也不知道为什么艺术类的学生英语都不是太好，象我这样的水平在我们班已经算不错了。当然，我们学校对艺术类学生没有过国家四级的要求。
因为想考研的，所以才在拼命学英语。不知道我现在的水平离考研还有多远，每次想到这个问题，我就会抓狂。也想过要申请出国读，但不知道象我这样发展下去还有多久才能达到雅思6.5的水平。请Mr.Xu就我现在的想法和情况，给一点学英语的建议吧。我是寒假刚上完新东方的四级班，然后现在学的新概念。我知道自己的水平很有限，而想法确很高，似乎有点不切实际，但这些想法也是因为新东方的老师的一句话“Jump for the sun ,at least you land on the moon.”

Sophie.Self-confidence, an Important Quality For You to Be Succeful
Currently, people have to face an urgent problem of competition.In the world, everyday there are many people losing their jobs, or hunting for a job.How can you stand stably in the society? There are a couple of reasons booming this phenomenon.In my opinion, if you want to be succeful, one of the most significant is your self-confidence.Self-confidence is one of the requirement of succe.On the long journey of our life, we will meet for dozens of failure.If we don’t poe enough self-confidence, succe will be abandoned.Napoleon is in the poeion of self-confidence, so he became the succeful owner in the political field.Many famous scientists, philosophers, artists etc, they all have this quality.Self-confidence could make you cheerful.We had never found, that a person full of sad become a succe.When you are delighted, you will feel the world is very beautiful, and then you may be eager to work of study and get more knowledge, you will be succeful in the end.Self-confidence could deliver a good impreion on the others.It appears your appearance.A corporation does not need employees who always consider themselves not do the case well.If a job hunter can make the best use of the interview and leave a good impreion on the mind of the interviewer, he may be lucky enough to get the job.If, on the other hand, the job seeker gives a poor performance during the interview, he is unlikely to stand a chance.Given the above factors, I can draw a conclusion: self-confidence is an important quality for you to be succeful.Give yourself the quality from now on, you will be succeful!
