中学英语教学法(JEFC & SEFC English Methodology)是英语教育专业的必修课,它包括现代教学理论、教学方法、学习技巧、中学英语教学大纲及其要求,是一门理论联系实际的课程。
一、教学目的与要求
用现代语言学与应用语言学的理论与实践指导中学英语教材分析,了解语言的基本实践和能力培养的难点及原则,学会在贯彻中学英语教学大纲,结合学生存在的问题和难点编写教案。学会教学基本技能技巧、评估与测试,介绍和分析教学评估与测试的基本理论与具体方法;结合目前教学中存在的应试模式问题,探索一套具有中国人学习特色的测试评估规律、原理、手段和方法。
二、教学重点与难点
1.教学重点:作为对传统基础英语教育的一种补充和完善, 改革以培养学生的英语交际能力为明确的目标。交际能力具体包括三个方面的素质:首先是语言能力, 如语音、词汇与文法等基本语言要素;其二是交际技能, 即在实际的生活中运用语言的能力, 包括说话流利、得体和言语策略的掌握;第三是对目标语国家的熟习, 如文化背景、活习俗和价值观等。与外国人交流, 从表面上看是语言交流, 但在实质上是一种跨文化交际。
2.教学难点:我国各大、中、小学外语教学再次面临全面改革。无论是课题、课程设置、大纲、教材、还是教法、师资培训或是测试, 各环节无一例外地都卷入了这场现代的教育革命。即教育要从应试教育转向素质、能力和创造力的培养。

以讲授为主,课堂讨论,读辅导材料,写学习心得,注重理论联系实际。
