这种结构还用来表示：
1)可能发生的行为。例如：

2)注定要发生的行为。例如：
All supplies are to written in our records。—所有供货我们都有记录在案。这种结构除了用被动语态外，也可以用主动语态。例如：The Board are to meet tomorrow。—董事会将于明天开会。
当并列句用这种结构时，并列连词及动词“be”均可省略。
例如：We are a company in the course of privatization，our shares to be
iued next month。我方为一家正在向私有化转制的公司，我方股票将于下个月发行。上述例句加上并列连词和动词“be”后是这样的：
We are a company in the course of privatization and our shares are tobe iued next month。We want to discu the terms of the contract，our company to be granted a World Bank credit soon。我们想讨论一下合同条款，因我们公司将很快得到一笔世界银行贷款。
上句如果补充完整应是这样的：
