Magic Tree House一系列30多本的冒险故事，by Mary Pope Osborne，字多图少，故事时间横跨古今，故事地点遍布全世界，而且每本都附有作者亲自朗读的录音带。

An I Can Read Book，出版社Harper Collins所出的一系列讀本。這樣的標頭會出現在每本書的封面上方。它其實是國外設計給不同年齡孩子的讀本，依照程度分成不同階段。在此只列出我喜歡而且曾經反覆幫孩子念過的收藏，故事本本精采，不容錯過。有些很適合有基本英文聽力的小學生，甚至中學生，因為故事有趣，主題多樣化，夠吸引孩子，有附錄音帶的版本更是讓孩子習慣聽英文的好幫手。第一階段(0－2歲)書標頭An I can read book（level 1），32-64頁，每頁1-3句話，每句話平均6、7個字。
