1.die-hard fan铁杆粉丝

Time is running out for Oprah’s die-hard fans, and they were feeling the heat Tuesday as they waited in line outside Harpo Studios in the hopes of getting into one of the final shows.对奥普拉的铁杆粉丝们来说，能观看她脱口秀的时间不多了。上周二，粉丝们在哈波演播室外面排长队，期待能参与录制最后几期脱口秀。

文中的die-hard fan就是指“铁杆粉丝”，也可以用hardcore fan或者stan来形容。Die-hard和hardcore这里都用来形容顽固、疯狂、坚定的支持者，我们在中文里常形容这类粉丝“死忠”。“游戏发烧友”就可以称为hardcore player。Die-hard用作贬义时可以指顽固分子、抵抗到底的死硬派。某些旧观念“根深蒂固”，就可以用old habits and traditions die hard来表达。

从上文中，我们可以看到“私奔”的英文就是elope这个词，其英文解释为run away secretly with one's beloved（与自己所爱的人偷偷逃走）。“与某人私奔”可以用elope/run off with somebody来表示。Elope的名词形式为elopement，例如：They have been the town talk ever since their elopement.（他们自私奔以来就一直是人们闲谈的话题。）

在网络上，有不少网友被二人为爱而不顾一切的精神所打动，惊呼原来世上还有pure love（纯粹的爱），还做出各种rosy conjecture（美好的猜测）。不过，也有人表示两人的elopement（私奔）可能只是marketing hype（市场炒作），并不值得关注。

4.film panorama电影展映

6.BMW people BMW族

蜗居，即“居住在狭小的空间”，作名词用时则指“狭小的居住空间”。这个词在由小说改编的同名电视剧横扫2009年电视荧屏的同时也一夜窜红，变得人尽皆知。

蜗居的英文怎么表达呢，电视剧的名字翻译成“Dwelling narrowne”。在日常表达中可以说“dwelling in a narrow space”。
