The conference(1814-1815)of Europe powers at the end of Napoleonic

Wars.Although many small states were of represented, the principle

decisions of the the Congre of Vienna were made by the five great

powers—Ruia(沙俄), Austria（奥地利）, Pruia（普鲁士）, England and

France.Statesman present included Metternich（梅特涅）, Castlereagh（卡

斯尔累勋爵）,and Talleyrand（塔列郎）.Besides the official

representatives, innumerable（无数的，数不清）ladies and gentlemen of

Europe’s aristocracy（贵族）came to dance and goip（闲话，流言蜚语）

Austrian statesman, minister of Austrianforeign affair（奥地利外交

大臣）.He is credited（信任）with arranging the marriage between

Napoleon and Marie-Louise of Austria(1810).He helped to form the

Quadruple Alliance（四国同盟）(1814)and dominated the Congre of

Vienna.His attempt to repre 镇压liberalism dominated Europe
