What impre you most about the culture of the USA?
When we refer to the USA ,we may aociate some words like superpower ,The Declaration of Independence,melting pot ,the new continent and so on.The culture of the United States is a Western culture originally influenced by European cultures.It has been developing since long before the United States became a country with its own unique social and cultural characteristics such asmusic, arts, social habits, cuisine, and.Today, the United States of America is an ethnically and racially diverse country as a result of large-scale immigration from many different countries throughout its history.[1]There is no typical American ,originating from a multitude ofethnic backgrounds, Americans come in all shapes ,sizes,colors,and ages.they practice a rainbow of religious and have a variety of political beliefs.The united states population is a“melting pot”made up of people from many ethic and cultural backgrounds.this broad mix of races and heritages makes a wonderful blend of energy,talent,and
creativity.So we can see,the outstanding feature of it's culture is tolerance.The main content of American culture is the emphasize on individuals' value, the pursue of democracy and freedom, the promotion of deploitation and competition and the need of realistic and practicality.Its core is individualism: self first, personal need first, pursue of individual benefit and enjoyment, emphasize on achieving individual value by self-strive and self-design.American society has great movements within itself.These movements are shown in two aspects: movements among it's locations and movements inside the society.The United States are relatively more open and have more freedom.Developed transport and the tradition of adventure and sporty makes a lot of American migrate from here to there.Further more, with the advocation of public education, movements upwards along the social ladder have become poible.Many people living in the states, no matter whether they are Native American or immigrants from overseas, have the same dream of changing their social cla and make their lifetime dream come true through their own efforts.This is what they often called “American dream”.The USA is an example of freedom and democracy.From it's
revolution to The Declaration of Independence ,they want to be free and make a difference.the U.S Constitution is the world's oldest document in continuous use.It declares that ''We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happine.'' But we all can see that the United States of America culture showed a strong national oppreion, aggreion and hegemony color especially to smalldeveloping countries.American culture includes both conservative and liberal elements, military and scientific competitivene, political structures, risk taking and free expreion, materialist and moral elements.Despite certain consistent ideological principles(e.g.individualism, egalitarianism, and faith in freedom and democracy), American culture has a variety of expreions due to its geographical scale and demographic diversity.In all,those impre me most--it is colorful ,breath freely ,by self-struggling and hard-working you can achieve you dream.
