The idea that E-books will replace traditional books is mistaken.Such is a universal aumption that old things such as traditional books should be cleared out to make way for the new, say E-books, which are products of rapidly developing information technology.But actually, traditional books, which are seemingly faced with a big challenge from advanced digital devices, are absolutely indispensable for creating civilization and recording history.Even with the advent of E-books, traditional books are still a treasure house of learning.There is no denying that thanks to the internet and electronic equipment, information is not only acceible, but intuitive and fun as well.On most occasions, we either read newspapers and magazines on E-books to get latest financial statistics, economic policies and market information used to make busine decisions, or be absorbed in fictions, killing time.When people sincerely attempt to learn something, they invariably refer to traditionally printed books, which systematically record the achievements of human civilization, including philosophy, theology, literature and science.Traditional books spread knowledge while E-books provide information, and traditional books will never lose their value as knowledge will never be worthle.The reading habits also save traditional books.A great many people, especially the young, always go into raptures at the mere mention of new technology, yet few of them are able to quickly adjust to the change.Most people including myself, who are fond of reading, enjoy smelling the books, feeling the paper and hearing the sound of turning the pages.Nothing can be compared with a bright afternoon when the pages are turned along with breeze blowing, when the pastoral life in the fiction reflects in mind as the light of the setting sun glints on the trees.All such peace can hardly be aociated with electronic screens.Reading traditional books is not a sense of nostalgia, but a
