Mu Lei conducts his writing from the perspectives of the history, the current situation and the reform of Chinese translation teaching.His book is of great benefit for us to gain an overall and thorough understanding of translation teaching, which would in turn improve the studies of translation teaching.Besides, from Mu Lei’s book, we can get acce to methods of conducting studies: we have to review the existing literature on our related subjects, then to find problems, finally to solve them.However, at least in my opinion, there are still some problems concerning this book.First, some redundant repetitions of Mu Lei’s ideas do exist.For example, in the second chapter, Mu Lei says:“在所有的外语科研中，语言学与文学研究成果又远比翻译研究多，而在翻译研究中，翻译教学研究就更少有人问津。翻译教学研究相对于语言文学研究、相对于我国翻译实践和翻译教学的发展严重滞后，不成比例。”(P88)But in the next page, he exprees this idea again, nearly in the same way, which makes readers feel that maybe he could be more concise and comprehensive.We can find some other similar examples in the remaining parts.A second weakne is that readers, at least I do get the impreion that Mu Lei’s book, in a large part, seems to be the collection of other scholars’ studies or viewpoints.Of course, we can have that kind of theses or books, which, to some extent, are similar to literature reviews.I remember that one scholar once said:”Chinese theses is more like a database for foreign scholars.” So i think it would be better to include Mu Lei’s point of view or solutions to some problems he has identified in details in this book.PS：最后，我有个疑问，穆雷在这本书中提到，对于外语专业的学生，翻译课应该在哪个学期开设比较合理的问题。就我个人经历而言，翻译课也只在大三一学年开设。但是，为什么一定要讨论翻译课在哪个学期开设比较合理呢？我们能不能从大一开始就开设那种短期的翻译课呢？最后我们可以再在哪个学期或学年集中讲授翻译课。例如，我们大一有口语课，那么在口语课已经上了几星期后，我们能不能另外开设为期几周与口语课同期进行的针对于社交场合，演讲，致辞等之类的翻译课；又如我们从大三开始会开设文学课，那么我们能不能同样地开设几周针对于文学类的翻译课呢？（因为我觉得，我们上文学课的时候可能会对文学作品的文体特点等等有更加清楚的了解。）最后，在开设长期的翻译课时，有了之前的短期翻译课，有了之前一定的实践，我们是否就可以稍微解决一节课中理论与实践不能充分安排的问题呢？
