一、签证申请
（一）中国公民（港澳台居民）和在中国具有《外国人永久居留证》的外国人的外籍配偶，父母及未满18周岁子女来华探亲，应当持L签证入境，在签证注明的停留期或有效期内停留，超过有效期的，外籍配偶须提供婚姻证明，外籍父母须提供亲属关系证明，外籍子女须提供出生证明或亲属关系证明，探望华侨和港澳台居民须提供华侨或者港澳居民在华常驻6个月以上的证明，境外机构出具的有关证明须经我国驻外使馆或者领馆认证，向市公安局出入境管理处申请签证。
（二）申请签证时，除提供上述证明外，还须提供下列材料：
1、本人有效护照及签证的原件和复印件；
2、填写《外国人签证、居留许可申请表》，粘贴一张近期二寸半身正面免冠照片；
3、提供《境外人员临时住宿登记表》（住宾馆、酒店者除外）；
4、探望中国内地居民，还须提供亲属本地常住户籍证明或者实际居住地的相关证明及居民身份证原件及复印件；
5、探望华侨，还须提供亲属的中国护照及国外定居证明；
6、探望港澳居民，还须提供亲属的《港澳居民来往大陆通行证》或者《港澳同胞回乡证》原件及复印件；
7、探望台湾居民，还须提供亲属的《台湾居民来往大陆通行证》或者《中华人民共和国旅行证》原件及复印件；
8、探望在中国具有《外国人永久居留证》的外国人，还须提供亲属的《外国人永久居留证》原件及复印件。
二、签证补办
持新护照的外国人申请补办签证，除上述所需材料外，还须提供下列材料：
1、因丢失护照领取新护照者，提供公安机关出入境管理部门出具的护照报失证明或者外国驻华使馆、领馆照会；
2、因护照即将到期或者签证用完等情况领取新护照者，须提供本次入境时所持护照；
3、对在中国境内出生的，单独持有护照的婴儿，须提供外籍婴儿的出生证明及父母双方的外国护照复印件。
三、注意事项
1、外国人申请签证、居留许可，必须按照中国政府主管部门的有关规定缴纳费用；
2、上述可以申请签证、居留许可的有效期及签证的入境次数，应以公安机关出入境管理部门最终批准的结果为准；
3、对在中国非法居（停）留或具有其它违法行为的外国人或责任人，公安机关将依法予以处罚；
4、公安机关出入境管理部门有权依法拒发外国人签证、证件，对已发出的签证、证件有权吊销或宣布作废，受理、审批、签发签证、证件需5个工作日。

Instructions of Application for Visas
(For Spouses, Parents and Children under Age 18 Visiting Family Members)
I.Application for Visa
1.Alien spouses, parents and children(under age 18)of Chinese citizens(including residents in Hong Kong, Macaw and Taiwan)or of aliens with Permanent Residence Permits, shall enter China with Visa L to visit you family members.You can stay in China within the time limit or the period of validity prescribed in your visas.Those who need to prolong your stay in Guangzhou beyond the expiration of your visas are required to apply for new visas before your visas expired.Neceary documents of your relationship are required as followed: marriage certificate for your spouse, kinship certificate for your parents;birth certificate for your children.Those visiting overseas Chinese or residents from Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan are required to provide theevidence of long-term residence(for 6 months and more)of your family members;
All the evidence iued by foreign institutes should be verified by the Chinese embay or consulate in that country.2.In applying for visas, in addition to the above certificates, you shall submit the following documents:
1).The original and photocopy of your valid paport and Chinese visa;
2).A form of Application for Visa and Residence Permit which you have filled correctly, and one of your recent paport-size 2 inch photos(full face without hat);
3).Registration Forms of Temporary Accommodation for Aliens by local street police station(excluding those lodging at guesthouse or hotel);
4).Those visiting mainland Chinese residents are required to provide the original and photocopy of your relative’s household registration or registration document of the current residence as well as their identity cards;
5).Those visiting overseas Chinese are required to provide your relative’s Chinese paport and the evidence of his or her permanent residence in a foreign country;
6).Those visiting Hong Kong or Macau residents are required to provide the original and photocopy of their Paes Traveling to and from Inland Region or their Home-visiting Certificates for Compatriots from the Regions of Hong Kong or Macau;
7).Those visiting Taiwan residents are required to provide your relatives’ Paes Traveling between Mainland China and the Region of Taiwan or their Travel Documents of People’s Republic of China;
8).Those visiting foreigners with residence permits in Guangzhou are required to provide the original and photocopy of your relative’s Alien Residence Permit or his or her Permanent Residence Permit.II.Re-Application for visa
Aliens holding new paports and re-applying for visas shall submit additional documents as follows:
1.Those who have lost your paports and obtained new paports shall submit certificates of reporting the lost paports iued by the department of entry-exit administration of public security organs or the diplomatic notes from your embaies or consulates in China;
2.Those who have obtained new paports due to your paports expiring or running out of visa pages should submit your paports used on your current entry;
3.Alien infants born in China with an independent paport shall submit their birth certificates and photocopies of their parents’ paports.III.Notices
1.Aliens applying for visas and residence permits shall pay visa and certificate fees to the prescribed rates set by competent authorities of the Chinese Government;
2.The validity period of visas and its number of entries or residence permits shall be taken as the final decision by Division of Exit and Entry Administration of Public Security organs;
3.Penalties shall impose on aliens who illegally stay in China or in violation of other Chinese laws or on persons responsible for such violations by the public security organs in accordance with the law;
4.The Division of Exit and Entry Administration of Public Security organ has the power to refuse to iue visas and certificates or to cancel or annul visas and certificates already iued.Handling, examining applications and iuing visas and certificates will need five working days.IV.Office Time and Addre：
