Firstly, thank you for taking your busy time to read my letter of self recommendation.My name is XXX, a student in western of Henan Province.When I was a little girl, my parents often told me that change my destiny with the knowledge, and go out of the mountains with my knowledge.So I study hard, from the primary school to high school, the excellent grades are my parents’ pride.In the third grade of junior high school, I got into the best high school in my city with 20 scores more than the score line.I was deeply interested in English from junior high school.I took part in Li Yang Crazy English Training Camp by accident, and achieved the title of “Outstanding Camper”.It increased my paion of learning English.In the three years of High School, I had a great progre with the help of the creative teaching method of my English teacher.Whatever enjoy the American TV series or listen to amazing English songs, these activities practiced my oral English greatly.Furthermore, my teacher let us translate the dialogues in the movies into Lingbao dialect.It also added my interests in learning English.In the second grade of high school, I took part in the National English Innovation Competition.Although I didn’t get the prize, I learnt a lot from the proce.I think English is not only a subject, but also a culture.It infiltrates in all aspects of our life.Learning English well is not only for personal development, but also for showing more graceful posture of China in the world.Zhengzhou University is the only national “211 Project” key university in Henan.It is also a dream heaven of numerous students.To be a member of it and studying in it is my dream.The free academic atmosphere and the deep culture attracted me strongly.I hope the teachers can give me this precious opportunity of studying here, and realize the dream of a student in rural who has thirsty for knowledge.In the three years of high school, I have been working in cla Commiion and charge labor and art.In the proce of servicing the clamates and our cla, I find the value of myself and also enhance self-confidence.In the proce of contacting with others I developed a warm, cheerful and positive personality.Driven by the burning paion for literature and performing, I organized and acted in our school variety show.I created a sketch, named “Good Recruitment of China”.I got much help of my teacher and clamates in the proce of creation and performance.I felt the strength of team work.At last, our sketch got a good response.And then I participated in the creation of cla song.The paionate melody becomes the exhaustible power of making progre for all students in our cla.I became a volunteer of the Welfare Centre in our city.In my free time, I often visit the disabled children with clamates.Because of their innocent smile and thirst eyes for knowledge, I had an idea to be a volunteer teacher.So I plan to teach in village with my free time in university and make a contribution for the construction of our country with my own meager strength!
