物流管理系统是集现代运输、仓储、配送、搬运、包装、产品流通及信息管理于一体的网络系统，它实现了商品从原料供应商、制造商、分销商、零售商到消费者的各个流通环节的有机结合，以合理费用将商品在需要的时间送达指定位置。基于现代物流管理的要求，用VB6.0做一个物流系统来适应现在社会的发展需求。
本系统的核心是数据库开发，从数据库的应用和开发的实效性角度出发，采用SQL Server 2000作为后台数据库，运用VB 6.0做为前台开发工具，实现了货运作业，作业查询，财务结算，系统维护，数据处理等模块，系统能统计各个方面的运营情况，并生成对应的打印报表。本系统为用户提供强大的数据操纵功能，界面友好、使用简单方便，系统维护成本低。
