（一）The picture is of a boy who is about to finish his race.Although he is finishing the race, on the track w can see the words that it is just a beginning.When I look at this picture I see that in life, we are often in many races.Often we feel that we have just accomplished something, however, it is just the beginning of something new and exciting.The race we run in life is ongoing.We might finish one race only to realize there is another after.Very often we complain about how tough college is and that we want to finish it so we can work.When we finally finish and go to work, we only find that it’s just another race that one must run in.it does not stop there.All aspects of our life are like that.We are never really finishing something, and we are just having short breaks only to continue on the next phase of our life, or another race in this example.While I am currently happy in my job right now, I have come to realize I must improve in order to better myself.I cannot just stop thinking that I should not be content with just getting a job.My life ahead still has many more stops, many more races to continue with.Just as a racer faces his race with determination to finish it the best he can, so do I face my life.作文范文
（二）The saying, “The terminal is also a jumping-off point” is similar to “All endings have new beginnings.” This particular drawing is of a runner who is about to break the tape at the end of his run to make the end of the race.He has a smile on his face for winning this victory.However, this will not be the last race of his life.Indeed, as he breaks the tape and wins this race, he is already preparing for the next new race.For me, what this picture illustrates is that life is a series of races, of beginnings and endings.We will not always win each race, but we need to give each race our best efforts.Then, as we finish one race, we prepare for the next, then the next.After all, after we win a race we do not sit down and say, “That’s, I’m all done.” No, we need to keep going.For instance, as a child, we first finish kindergarten, then primary school, and then on to junior high, and senior high, then university.Sometimes we go on to get our post-graduate degree, even a doctorate degree.Then we get our first job, but rarely do we stay with the same company for life.We may hold several positions in the company, then we switch to another company and do the same.For each of these phases in our life there is a beginning and an ending.But each ending is also a new beginning.Sometimes we may mourn an ending, but at the same time, we can always celebrate a new beginning.作文范文
