Good evening ladies and gentleman, my topic is “when reality betrays your dream, forgive it”.Dream, what a beautiful word.Dream is fascinating, imaginable, and inspiring.Dream can give you a certain goal to pursue, and with it, you can be full of courage when facing difficulties in the way to your destination.However, reality is much more cruel than dream.Sometimes it pulls you back from the cloud to the ground, and you just crash to the ground and get hurt, badly.The most impreive experience to me was the failure in the high school entrance exam.That time, I have a simple dream, to enter a famous university.And that dream really inspired me to spend as much time as I could to study, and even kill all my leisure time.Unfortunately, however, I still failed.I felt very unfair and angry about the reality, but I also learned a leon that when reality comes to you, you have no way to escape, but to face it.Now, you may wonder, should we accept the cruel reality and do nothing to it? Absolutely not.I appreciate the words of Kaifu Lee, “Be generous to accept the things you cannot change;be brave to change the things you can change.” To me, the failure of the exam is the thing I can not change, so I just accept this truth and be happy to welcome my college life in Nanchang University.However, what can be changed is the attitude toward the new life.So in college I tried my best to change myself, took on every challenge and cherished every chance of improvement.Finally I found that a man's excellency cannot be tarnished by his failure in an exam.So ladies and gentlemen, let's forgive the so called cruel reality and be optimistic to face it.You crash to the ground? Not bad, a good exercise to your body!Your dream has gone? Don't worry, find a new one!Always have your dream with you and let it be your guide, then accept the things you can not change while trying your best to change the thing you can change, I believe someday everyone of you can be a winner of yourself.That's all, thank you!

成长的足迹
大家晚上好，今天我演讲的题目是：“成长的足迹”。
如果把生活比作沙滩，而把人的一生比作在沙滩上行走，那么人所留下的脚印，也就是一个人成长的足迹。纵观不同人走过的足迹，有的人走得稀稀落落，软弱无力；有的人却扎扎实实，脚印丰富无比。无论足迹如何，所有人的目标都是一样的，那就是活得精彩。
那么，如何活得精彩？我想，不同的人的精彩是不一样的，而同一个人在不同的阶段也会有不一样的追求。对于我们大学生来说，学习无疑是最大的目标。然而，学习的意义却远非死啃课本这么简单。我一直觉得，虽然高的分数可以证明一个人一部分的优秀，但是人的优秀却不能被他较他人低的分数所玷污。在大学这个大舞台里，我们实在是有太多太多挑战自我的机会。各种比赛，各种社团，各种志愿活动……能不能勇敢地抓住这些机会来证明你自己，也就体现了你够不够优秀，会不会学习。每一次不同的经历，都是一次学习的机会，也都为你的人生添加了一个珍贵的脚印。虽然选择参与就必然会面临可能的失败，但是失败本身，却并不仅仅是一种打击，它同样也可以是一个学习的机会。比赛的失败可以让你看到自己的弱点，而失恋则可以教会你怎样去爱。（要敢于挑战，也不要害怕失败）我认为，只要在大学毕业之际，我们回头看自己走过的足迹觉得成长了，觉得心满意足了，那就够精彩了。至于你拿过几次奖学金，得过多少证书，在学生会有没有干到主席，那都是浮云。
所以，同学们，让我们在人生中的每一个阶段，都走好每一个阶段要走的路。要敢于挑战自己，超越自己，要快乐地成长。相信在座的每一个人，都可以走出一条让自己满意的足迹。
