A Test of True Love
序幕
In the misty morning, there was slightly cool breath in the air.Pedestrian was not much, sometimes you could see someone in his coat hurriedly paed by, Rolled up a cool wind, their mey steps were left on the wet ground.（雾气迷蒙的清晨，空气中有微微的凉意。路上行人并不多，偶尔有裹着大衣的路人急速穿行而过，带起一阵清冷的风，湿湿的地面上，他们的足迹匆忙而凌乱。）
He sat on the chair in the waiting room of platform, focused his eyesight on the digital clock over the information desk.Another six minutes, he thought, I could see her.his mouth lifted up slightly.（他的嘴角轻轻扬起。）

第一幕
旁白 boy：If we spent time in the opposite direction，would there be another encounter?

John（拿着书和信，欣喜而激动）: hi!Guys.Look, what is this?
Tom（漫不经心的瞟了一眼）: Isn’t it a book ,I also received one ,oh ,here it is.（从身后的桌子上拿过一本一模一样的书）
Bob（一脸陶醉，花痴状，捧着信）: I gue she is a beautiful and noble girl ,she should have soft and slim hands, look at the beautiful handwriting, oh, that’s great!
Jack（理性冷静，由衷感动）: Ms Meynell is really a kind girl, she encouraged us in her letter, and I will firmly keep it in heart.I wish her happy all her life.Tom（双手合十）: God ble her.John(强颜欢笑): Yeah, that’s right.She is good, very good… haha（低声）…all received…
旁白：John is a little lost.He is not the only one.But that is understandable, he thought, I didn’t know her.he shook his head , should I write back to him?（他有点小失落。他不是唯一一个收到书和信的人，但那是无可厚非的，他想，我不认识她。他晃了晃脑袋，我是不是该给他回信呢？）
（当夜，在昏暗的灯光下，他埋首写道）
John: Dear Ms Meynell, I was glad to hear from you, thanks for your kindne and encouragement …(停笔，沉思，然后微笑)Don’t care, we will do well we should do, and we will be better than before…
旁白：On the day of his departure, john heard from meynell again.He stood on the deck , looked at that familiar city with sad expreions.The wind blow his hair and clothes, the hometown in his eyes was far and far away.He opened the letter, read again and again.(在他离开的那一天，他收到了回信。站在货船的甲板上，他凝望着这个熟悉的城市，神情忧伤。风吹起她的头发和衣袂，故乡在他眼中越来越远。他展开她的回信，一遍一遍的诵读。)

第二幕
旁白：Time went by.He persisted to write to her, and waited for her letter hopely day after day.He believed he loved her, and she loved him.one day , he was sick, he lay on the bed of camp, pale.but he thought , he couldn’t forget to write back to her.(汤姆，鲍博，杰克进来时，他正在伏案写信)
John: Dear meynell ,I am good, don’t care.It’s sunny outside, and I have saw many unknow flowers bloomed in the camp, I suddenly realize we have spent a long time.Thanks for accompanying with me all the time…(谢谢你一直陪伴着我)
Tom : hi!Are you OK? Oh oh , you are writing letter again.I am sure it’s no problem for you to go out and fight.（我相信你现在出去干一架也没问题）
Bob（大大咧咧）: no, no, no.now it’s easy for him to destroy a aircraft.Ha? Aren’t you write to my dear Ms meynell ?(捂住胸口，做内伤状)oh, no… hateful guy!Jack : en..in fact, we all don’t know what she is look like although you have written to each other so long.I really want to know.Bob: no doubt, she must be chenyuluoyan, biyuexiuhua, liumeixingyan, fenchunbeichi, shangdetingtang, xiadechufang…(省略千百字)（沉鱼落雁，闭月羞花，柳眉杏眼，粉唇贝齿，上的厅堂，下的厨房……）
John（内心一动）：OK, OK, guys, are you have nothing to do?
Tom(脸色黯然不过立刻恢复): of cause we have, we just go and see you by the way, oh, we should leave now.（三人一起，尽量做得和平时一样，但有点悲壮或者是萧索）：byebye!
John: Good luck to you!
(他没有想太多，也没有注意兄弟们脸上不自然地表情，低头继续写信)
John：dear，I mi you too much, I even want to see you right now but I can’t.so, could you give me a photo of you? I LOVE YOU.旁白: What he don’t know is, his friends left, but never come back.They died here, a strange and cold place, forever。On the charred land, wild rose bloomed sliently.(他不知道的是，他的朋友们走了之后，就再也没回来。他们都死在这里，一个陌生而冰冷的地方，永远。烧焦的战场上，野玫瑰静静地开放。)背景音乐起。
(女主角，第一视角)
Sister: sister, sister, his letter, here…
(她微笑，安静地接过，打开，从信封中掉落出一束小小的已经枯萎的野玫瑰，她小心翼翼地捧起花，深情地凝视了一眼，然后轻轻拆开信)
Sister：So beautiful, But why it withered(枯萎)?(凑过头去看信)ha？ He asked for you photo, sister, will you give him?
(她把妹妹推出房间，然后关上房门，看着桌子上枯萎的花，想了好久)
Meynell：sorry dear ,I can’t.I think, if your feelings for me have any reality, any honest basis, what I look like won’t matter.Suppose I’am beautiful.I’d always be bothered by the feelings that you loved me for my beauty, and that kind of love would disgust me.Suppose I’am plain.Then I’d always feel you were writing to me only because you were lonely and had no one else.Either way, I would forbid myself from loving you.When you come to New York and you see me, then you can make your decision.remember, both of us are free to stop or to go on after that, if that’s what we choose…remember, I love you, too.（要插音乐吗？女主角唯一一段长话……）(写完，她往窗外看去，阳光明媚，云淡风轻，她轻轻舒了口气)
旁白boy: Bird can’t fly away the sea, not because bird doesn’t have the courage, but because there is no one wait for him.(小鸟飞不过沧海，不是小鸟没有飞过沧海的勇气，而是沧海的那一头已经没有等待。)旁白girl: Because of waiting, love gets beautiful and deep, because of love, time and space are not problems.（因为等待，爱变得美丽而深刻，因为爱，时间空间都不再是距离。）
第三幕
旁白：When he recalled these, he closes his eyes and take a deep breath, sad and happy, for his friends, and for his darling, too.John : one minute to six…
(她向他走来……他向她迎上去……)
Meynell: going my way, soldier?(他不可自制的在靠近一步，然后他看到了女孩身后的莫利……他眼神石化了，双腿像灌了铅一样当他移动的时候，他的眼睛直直的看着莫利外套上的红玫瑰，手深深的用力压在书上……女孩快速从他身边穿过，消失在弥漫的雾气中。)背景音乐（此时男主角要表现出那种期望与失望巨大落差之后的失落感，心压抑无比，想向后去追随那个女孩却不得不生生止住脚步的矛盾和无力感。）背景音乐起。
独白：Maybe, this would not be love.However it would be something perhaps even le common than love, a friendship for which he had been, and would always be, thankful.John(走上前去，坚定一点，递书): I am John blandford, and you –you are ms.meynell.I am so glad you could meet me.May I take you to a dinner?
Woman(微笑): I don’t know what this is all about, son.That young lady in the green suit –the one who just went bye –begged me to wear this rose on my coat.And she said that if you ask me to go out with you, I should tell you that she is wait for you in the big restaurant near the highway.John(一脸惊愕，难以置信):why should she do this?
Woman(意味深长的笑了)：who knows, maybe it was some kind of a test.John：thank you.（他按耐住内心的激动，向女人鞠了一躬，转身要离开。）
Woman: wait, you forget it.(从外衣上摘下玫瑰，递给他。)good luck to you, guy.John : once again, thank you.(接过花，向雾气中跑去，女人在后面看着她的背影，微笑着默默祝福)
背景音乐起。
落幕
John（深情的将玫瑰花戴在她的头发上）：I think, I have paed the test.Meynell(看着他的眼睛):Yes, you don’t let me down.John : remember this book? It writes.The most distant way in the world is the love between the fish and bird, one is flying at the sky, the other is looking upon into the sea.（世界上最遥远的距离是飞鸟和鱼 的爱情，一个翱翔天际，一个深潜海底。）
Meynell: but I will wait for you all my life.（但是我会等你一生。）
John: I love you.Meynell: Me , too.旁白boy：Many times, not because we don’t believe love, just because we believe love ,we value it more.（很多时候，不是因为我们不相信爱情，而正是因为我们相信爱情，我们更加珍惜。）
旁白girl：Many times, not because time and space blocks our love, just because of our own heart.（很多时候，不是因为时间和空间阻隔了我们的爱情，阻隔我们的恰恰是我们的心。）
