My speech about War Horse

War Horse is directed by Steven Spielberg.I begin to talk about the film with its director, for he is considered one of the most popular and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema.You will know how he is cool, if I give the names of some of his works: Saving Private Ryan《拯救大兵瑞恩》, Juraic Park《侏罗纪公园》, Schindler's List《辛德勒名单》and so on.In later years, his films began addreing such iues as the Holocaust, slavery, war and terrorism.War Horse is one ofhis war films, based on World War One.It would be difficult to find any war film that conveys the terror, the shame, and the pain of modern warfare better.War Horse is featured by the special point of view, the beauty and kindne of human nature reflected in the war film and the perfect unity of human and nonhuman.First of all, a hero in the film is not a man any more, but a horse.Through eyes of the horse Joey, the audience have a chance to get close to different and even opposite sides in the war field and see entirely what was happening in a war.Soldiers of both sides are equally victims and ordinary people of each country are suffering a lot.There is no clear line between different sides.It is the horse that ties together an epic story of ordinary English, French, and the German people caught up in the awful disaster of World War One.War is the

catastrophe of the entire human being.Secondly, War Horse reflects not only sorrow caused by war, but also dignity and beauty of human nature, which is more important and differs from most other films based on the war.After watching it, the audience are touched by moving and heartwarming atmosphere from pure feelings of human more than brutality.This film, although reflecting war, rouses consciousne hidden at the bottom of human heart: love and respect.It has a strong fascination croing the boundaries of countries.Thirdly, the horse Joey is loved and respected by all people of different sides.It is given the quality of human being even higher than human.A man has a chance to reread himself by watching a horse.If we can be moved easily by a horse, why we are so indifferent and even cruel to the same kind? If we value the life of a horse, why we kill lives of the same kind in the war? If we are purified by a horse, why we turn sophisticated to our same kind? A horse is our friend, we are brothers and sisters.War Horse lefts us too many things to rethink.I like this film and it enriches my mind.It is really worth watching.Never mi it please!
