It’s at the wedding of Peleus and THetis, all the gods and goddees were invited except of Eris(The godde of disaster).So she sent a golden apple and write “for the fairest” on it.It made three goddees(Hera, Athena, Aphrodite)argued for a long time.So they find a handsome boy-Paris to commit the decision.Hera promised him power and riches, Athena glory and renown, and Aphrodite the fairest of woman for his wife.And Paris gave the golden apple to Aphrodite,thus making the two other godde his enemies.With the help of Aphrodite, Paris found the fairest woman-Helen.And Paris carried Helen to Tory, which annoyed Menelaus, the husband of Helen.Menelaus was so angry and called on his brother Agamemnon to start a war, this is cause of the famous Trojan War.Next let’s welcome my friend ****.Hello, everyone.I will show you the proce of the war.At the beginning, even the gods and goddees joined in it.Such as Apollo(the god of sunlight and arrow)and Aphrodite(the godde of love and beauty)joined in the Tory, and Athena(the godne of wisdom)and Hera(the godde of marriage)join in the Greek.There are also two famous heroes in the war, Achilles and Hector.Achilles is Peleus and THetis’ son.He is invincible, except for his heel which only known by the gods.And Hector is prince of Tory;he is the most famous warrior in his country.At the beginning, Achilles was not satisfied with Agamemnon.So he seemed not want to join the war.However, Hector killed Achilles’ best friend Patroclus, which made him angry.So, Achilles killed Hector, which inspirits the Greeks.However, because of the offence of Apollo, Paris discharged at Achilles a poisoned arrow, which guided by Apollo, wounded Achilles in the heel and killed him.The war last 10 years and many heroes like Achilles and Hector died in the war.Let’s welcome my friend ****.Hello, everyone.I will show you the result of the war.Look at this giant wooden horse;it’s the key of the Greeks’ victory.By the advice of Odyeus, the Greeks built a wooden horse and hide in it.The Trojans thought the Greeks are afraid and ran away.So they carried the horse into the city.At night, after the celebration of the Trojans, solders hiding in the wooden horse came out, killed the guards and opened the gate.A lot of Greeks came in;they burn the city and killed the innocent citizens.Of course the Greek got the victory.Let’s welcome my friend***.Hello, everyone.I will make some comments discued by our group.First, people always thought the Greeks are the winner.Actually, there is no winner after the war.Because of the offence of Athena, the Greeks almost died in the sea after the Trojan War.So the peace is what we should look for.Second, the behaviors of the heroes should be learnt by us, such as the bravene of Hector, the wisdom of Odyeus and so on.Third, after reading this book, our minds really changed a lot.The gods and goddees in the Greek Mythology all have emotions just like humans, even they could marry to their brothers or sisters.Some gods even love men who were handsome.It’s really give us a feeling maybe we can call it “毁三观”in Chinese.That’s all, thank you.
