导语：星期五上午，湖北第八届“楚风杯”大学生书画大赛决赛在武汉大学举行。本次大赛收到省内高校绘画书法作品2000多件，大学生们挥毫洒墨彰显青春活力，表达对中华文化的热爱。

The 8th Provincial College Student Paintings and Calligraphy Competition was held on March 30th at Wuhan University.The contestants said that this is a very good opportunity to carry on Chinese traditional culture and communicate with each other through their exhibits and learning.Huang Baohua reports.画外：决赛仪式在武汉大学举行。校党委副书记王传中致辞，他说，举办书画大赛是校园文化建设的重要部分，懂得欣赏书画作品是具有高雅休养的表现。他希望本次比赛能促进省内高校的友好交流。

省书法家协会副主席饶兴成、张明明等书画名家应邀担任评委。并现场书就开笔辞，预祝大赛圆满成功。

本次比赛主题是“纪念建团九十周年，弘扬先进校园文化”，共有50多位大学生进入决赛，大家折纸研磨，尽书所想，活动现场摆放和悬挂着历届书画大赛的优秀作品，大厅内弥漫着浓厚的书香气息。

画外：共青团湖北省委有关负责人参加决赛活动，在接下来的一个月内，本次书画大赛的获奖作品将在武汉高校巡展。

Party Secretary Wang Chuanzhong of Wuhan University attended the opening ceremony of the 8th Provincial College Student Paintings and Calligraphy Competition, delivering a speech in which he said that appreciation of paintings and calligraphy works represent an important aspect of personal spiritual quality and that the Competition itself is a good chance for local universities and colleges to carry on friendly communication and exchanges.Some famous local artists were invited as judges.A total of 2,000 works have been received for the event, from which some 50 students joined the finals.Outstanding works will be selected to win prizes and join the exhibition tour in the upcoming month around the campuses in Wuhan.
