Harmonious World.When the African civilians lost their lives because of diseases;when Iraq was swept through by the war;when the nuclear power plant in Japan exploded, when the Amazon forest was cut down endlely;when the earth was weeping, I wonder how people present here felt.Maybe just like me, you were full of worries or angers.But maybe you were indifferent……

But here I’d like to claim: the world needs no war;the world needs no disease;the world needs no hostile environment;the world needs no crying!

The rapid development has led to the fierce competition among various countries.Problems as trade blocks, military conflicts, religious disparities and territory disputes have covered the world with a shadow.They are threatening the life safety of humankind as a time bomb.I’d like to say that the world needs harmony.Above all, a harmonious world needs a harmonious society.However, back to reality, some phenomena are not satisfying.On March 17th 2011, I heard that a cell phone of a student in our college was stolen by his fellow student.I just wonder how a college student can commit such a crime.Was he conscientious when he was stealing the phone？ No！Such black deeds damage the elegant demeanor of our college students.A harmonious society cannot tolerate this kind of people.My fellow students, as we are highly educated, we shall contribute to the construction of socialism.What can we do?

We can give seats to people in needs on the bus.We can dine orderly in the canteen.We can keep quiet in the library.We can keep public properties in good conditions in the park.Yes we can

I know that the power of a single person is limited.However, I know that the power of millions of you is enormous!As long as everyone makes a contribution within his or her capability to our harmonious society, there is a great chance to realize the dream of building a harmonious society, the dream of the Chinese rejuvenation, the dream of lasting world peace!Yes we can

Finally, I want to say: to those-to those who would tear the world down :we will defeat you to those who seek peace and security :we support you;.Yes we can Ladies and gentlmen,let’s cheer up for the harmonious world ,let’s just do it!Thank you ,god ble you!
