ACT I
旁白：Jee and Susie are lovers who have loved each other for 2 years.Just because they have each other, their life became more wonderful.（从门进来，女挽男手，边走边说，很幸福的样子）
S：darling，my parents have known our relationship, so they want to see you.J: OK.The ugly son-in-law will have to see his parents-in-law in the end.We go back on Labor Day.How do you think?
S：en… That’s ok.I’ll give a call to my mother.If she knows, she will be very happy.J：look，so hurry you are.苏珊拨电话(两人边打电话边往门外走，退场)
S: mum, we will go back on Labor Day.Mrs: ok, I know it.I must prepare it well with your father.ACT II
Jee and Susie came back home.Both of them are travel-stained.S: dad, mum, we are back
Mr.Carter and Mrs.Carter welcome them happily
J: hello, uncle, aunt

J：actually, I should visit you earlier.(将带来的各种礼品放在桌上)It's just a little expreion of gratitude, please accept them.Mrs.Carter: sit down please.It must be tired for you to travel so long.Please make yourself at home.J: well,（坐在沙发上）Thank you.Mrs.Carter:（也在沙发上坐下）where are you from？ How many people are there in your family? And what’s your parent’s job?
J:I live in a country in the north-west of our country.My parents just do something that cannot make much money.Ah, I have a little brother and a little sister else.Mrs.Carter：（脸色突然转变）Then do you think you can buy a house in this city?
J:(支吾着)e…ah…I …I…
Mrs.Carter: if you can’t afford to buy a house, you can’t let our daughter live a happy life.So I think it’s not suitable for you to be together.卡特先生给卡特夫人使了个眼色，并用手捅她
Mrs.Carter: you can go now, we are not very welcome you.杰西很尴尬地站在那里，他不知道该说些什么。

One year paed, though Susie’s parents do not agree them to be together, they still stay with each other happily.（男打电话）
苏珊的电话响起
J：Susie, I’m admitted by a magazine.S：That’s great.J: Susie, ah..There are something which I have consider for a long time, now, I want to tell you.（不忍心的心情。身体靠着门，头靠到门上，仰望天作伤心状）
S:What?
苏珊在心里想着他是不是想给我什么惊喜呢。求婚？
J：(慢慢地说)Susie, we….e..I’m sorry.I want to break up.It’s over.（哽咽一下）After spending such a long time in finding a job, I really realize
that what your mother said is right,（有点自卑地，感觉对不起女友）I can’t give you happine.I have no money to buy a house, have no money to buy good clothes for you, I….you are too good for me…you deserve a better man to give you happine…
S:(傻笑着)Jee, you can’t make such kind of joke with me!
J：Susie，I’m serious, it isn’t a joke..we should break up..（有哽咽地停顿，吞一下口水，再接着说的感觉）
S:（大哭）can you give me a reason?
J: sorry, no reason.Goodbye.（慢慢地挂电话，慢慢地把电话从耳边拿下来，眼睛随着电话往下，作伤心状）
电话挂断了，两个人都握着电话哭了
ACT IV
旁白：Three years have paed, Jee goes to Susie’s home again.杰西敲门
Mr.Carter:(开门、惊讶的)oh, why do you come here? Is there anything wrong?
J:I want to see Susie, is she at home now?（解释状）
Mr: Haven’t you broken up?
J: uncle, can you let Susie out? I want to say something with her.Mr:(无奈的)ok..Susie…(站在门口叫)Jee comes…
S（冷漠的）why do you come here?
J:I am here for you.Shall we go out to have a talk?（两人走）
苏珊不由自主地答应了，两人来到公园里。
S: please tell me what you want to say as soon as poible.I have something else to do.J:I hope we can go back to the previous day.(突然很兴奋地，对未来充满憧憬)Now, I have my own company.I think I can give you a happy life.S:（激动地）Happine?!Do you know the eence of happine?(停顿一会)Jee, you can go now.Like what you said before, we are over.You should understand that you mi something and it will be a mi forever.（J在S说话时，由原先的兴奋状慢慢冷下来，转为僵硬尴尬）
J: please give me one more chance！!Susie.You should know I love you deeply!(哽咽)
S: Jee, you didn’t understand what is the true love from beginning to end.Love is house?!is money?!（情绪激动）Yes ,without house, without money, we can’t live a relaxed life.But at that time, we are both young.You know, we can struggle together!（摇头，苦笑）However, you leave me alone and didn’t give me a reason!How can you do like that?!You didn’t think of me！!(哭了)Now, you must know there is something won’t come back as soon as you loosen your hands… you can go…It is no use crying over split milk.(转身走进屋子，关门)
J:（双手捂脸，慢慢顺脸摸下，低头默默离开，路上低语)Am I really wrong? Is it true that mi is the forever mi?（出场）

S: Stop!I don’t want to listen it.You aren’t me, so you can’t understand my thought.Three years ago,your brother broke up with me for no reason.Though I’m sorrowful,he escaped from my world suddenly.Now that he had loosened my hands,I won’t be together with him any more.Like what I said to your bother,mi is the forever mi!Sorry, I’m tired,goodbye.B:（嘟嘟声，握着电话，若有所思的重复）mi is the forever mi?
