Let me see.Due to the differences in history, cultural traditions and social environments, Chinese people and westerners appear to be different in many aspects.For example, when Chinese people meet each other, they often ask, “Where are you going?” or “Have you had meals?” They view these as some kinds of greeting.But these questions may puzzle westerners.For the first question, they may think it is none of your busine, which is common greeting in China, but is viewed by Americans as intruding upon a personal privacy(侵犯个人隐私)。This misunderstanding will probably cause the communication to break down or make the speakers distrust each other.Another example, the difference is in conducting their wedding in western countries.Wedding ceremony is conducted in a church, while Chinese people hold it in hotels or at restaurants.A large number of young people prefer banquet-oriented ceremony(东方宴会仪式)。The bride and bridegroom toast the guests(新郎新娘向客人敬酒)to show thanks for their attendance(光临)。

As we all know, the important Chinese festivals are the Spring Festival, the Mid-autumn festival, the Lantern festival(元宵节), the Double Ninth Festival（重阳节）.Every body knows in China, among these festivals, the most important on to Chinese people is the Spring Festival which is a traditional festival in China just like the western Christmas.It is the time for Chinese families to get together to celebrate the Festival, ringing the old year out and ringing the new one in.And on the Eve, all the family members sit at the table and enjoy the delicious food.At the same time, we can watch the special Spring Festival programme on TV.The programme is always very good.It goes on till midnight.We also light fireworks.In one word, everywhere in China is full of festivity atmosphere during this period of time.4.In order to travel pleasantly, people will do some preparations for it.What are the preparations for traveling? What is the most important preparation? Why? In order to travel pleasantly, people will do a lot of preparations for traveling.The preparation jobs include the follows: first, money;second, enough clothes;third, umbrella;forth, compa;fifth, camera;sixth, medicine, water, and so on.Among the most important preparation is good health, because without good health, you couldn’t go traveling.5.Would you like to sum up the problems traveling may cause? Our tourism is developing quickly, however, it still needs improvement.Here are my suggestions.First, the scenic spots should provide more typical souvenirs(纪念品)。Tourists, especially foreign visitors might want to see something special.They may be attracted by traditional handicrafts(手工艺品)。They would like to buy some as souvenirs to remember the trips.So handcraft-making would be a profitable busine if improved.Second, develop some new tourist routes to meet different needs.Some people want to go to different places.Others want to go in a special way, such as cycling, boating, hiking, and driving.Some others want to go to famous universities.If we are not well prepared, we cannot make a good profit even with this good opportunity.
