Dear Ms.Emily,It is my great honor to share the book The Great Gatsby that I have read.The book mainly narrated the miserable experience of Gatsby.I like the book because the book revealed the reality of the society in Gatsby’s age.From the book, I learned that most people would respect and love you, even made friends with you if you are rich while they would avoid you just like mouse or betray you if you are in trouble or you are poor, including the person who you love.Daisy who was Gatsby’s girlfriend betrayed Gatsby, getting married with Tom just because Tom was rich while Gatsby was poor although Daisy loved Gatsby.Only when you are in trouble can you recognize whether they are you true friends or not.There were so many friends attending Gatsby’s extravagant parties.However, none of those friends came to Gatsby’s funeral, neither did Daisy.Only two persons nick and his father came to the funeral.The world is nearly aloof.We should not make friends with those who are snobbish.On the other hand, we might as well treasure those are always with you when you are in trouble.Have you ever read this book?
