Income Sources between Chinese Students and American Student
According to the statistic, sources of income are extremely different between Chinese students and US students.In America, students get their incomes from parents just about 50 percent, but, there’re 35 percent students that are more likely to get a part-time job as their income resource and 15% of their incomes are based on fellowship and scholarship.Compared, Chinese students seem to be out.It is unbelievable that only 5% get a part-time job as their income resource while 90 percent students are based on their parents.And as for the others, their income resources are based on the fellowship and scholarship
In my opinion, this might own to the different culture ,but the main reason I think is that Chinese parents are spoiling their children again and again as giving the money generously when their children asked which raises their lazine and kills the spirit of independence so that more and more Chinese students are depended on their parents instead of finding methods to make money by themselves.On the contrary, in American, many parents develop their children to be independent in an early age.In this way, many of them will be of the awarene to gain the money by them first, then from parents.As far as I am concerned, a man’s virtue lies in being independent and self-improved.Caring more about kids is a good thing but it mustn’t be doting.Parents should properly improve children’s independent spirits.
