Give Students Another Chance

As students, we may make many kinds of mistakes in college.Among those mistakes, cheating on exams can be the most common one for students.And as the problem of cheating on the exams becomes more and more serious, many colleges have made a policy to punish those students: any one convicted of cheating on an exam will be automatically expelled from college.After hearing this, I am shocked and I think the policy is so harsh that it may cause many problems.After spending so many years studying around the clock and competing with so many students all over the country in the college entrance examination, we finally get the chance of entering college.If one is expelled from the college just because he has cheated in an exam, it will be unfair to him.We have put money and efforts into our education, we deserve better place to accept better education to gain a better life.And college is a place to provide better education for students, it should not expel students because of a mistake which is not so serious.Also, if the college expels students convicted of cheating on an exam, it will cause harm to the students, even ruin their life.After being expelled from the college, they will bear much stre from their parents and the society.Their parents have spent much money and efforts on them and their only hope is that their children can have a better future.How can the parents not be angry if their children have been expelled from college? Besides, the students who have been expelled from college will not find a good job, and it will give much preure to them.Because of the stre from the family and society, many students will turn into fallen people and some of them may choose to give up their lives.Though cheating on exams is wrong, college should give students another chance.It is the responsibility for college to help students, not to ruin students.There are many other ways that can help those students cheating on exams to correct, college does not need to choose the worst way which is harmful to both the students and their family.And college should give students another chance and lead them to a better life.
