Good morning everyone, I’m glad to give you a speech about the left-behind children.Nowadays, more and more people go from country to big cities to work.For various reasons, they left children at home.The children are called “left-behind children”.As we know, they have many problems.Tough though money their parents earn by working hard outside, these children can live a better life and go to school, they are always lonely and streed out because they are short of parents' love, there’s no one cares what they are thinking and what they want.At the same time, these children are likely to do something wrong even against the laws, because they're short of correcting and restriction.Another big problem is that these left-behind children are badly lack of guarantee of safety.Without parents’ protection, they often have to face threats from others or even themselves.For example, during this Spring Festival，in my hometown，two little boys——one is 3，another is 5 played games beside a pool.Their parents worked in big city and the senior at home didn’t look after them well.Unfortunately, tragedy happened, the two boys fell into the pool and drowned, their mother went mad.So, it’s very neceary to avoid more tragedy.But what can we do ?

In my eyes, the school can set up psychological counseling room to make the teachers be well aware of children’s thought and give help in time.Second，the government can found parents school to tell parents give more care for children and teach them how to do it better.Third, we can call on people to help them, for example, we can call for people to create more opportunity for the left-behind children to move into big city to live with there parents.Forth, we can also raise money to donate to these children，for example，we can increase investment in public facilities in countryside so that children can play recreational facilities instead of playing in dangerous places like the pool.The last but not the least, we should help the left-behind children build upmind of self-strong, self-protect, and amour-proper.It is themselves that who can take care of them the best.In a word, it's very important for us to pay more attention to the left-behind children if we want to give them a bright future and build a harmonious society.So, let’s try to make a difference together.That’s all.Thank you.
