Right attitude makes better university life
I have a question for you: “How did you feel when you first came to this university?” To be frank, I was very disappointed.I can still remember those days clearly, I was in a low spirit all the time.Because the university life was totally out of my expectation.It seemed that our lives were limited in a small dormitory.Every day I walked around the campus, flowing with the crowd.I found that I had drowned into loneline.This situation didn’t change until a group of my old high school friends came to visit me.As I showed them around our campus, they roared in
appreciation for my university while expreing disappointment in their own schools.After they left, I lay on the gra, and began to look for the source of my problem.Finally I got the answer: it was not the university but I that is to blame.I had not been standing in the right place to truly see the university.I was living in a fog of past dreams and was ignoring the beauty of my own reality.Now, when I look at this university with appreciation in my eyes, everything is different.I appreciate its strong study atmosphere, I appreciate its cheap and delicious food, and I appreciate its colorful activities.Once I have been able to see these advantages clearly, I have come to realize that I must devote myself to my university and cultivate myself so that I can represent my university well once I graduate.So, if you look on a thing in the right way, even our life may have a big difference.Here is another story for you which will further illustrate my point:
A father was very annoyed by his son, so he wanted to find a way to make his son quiet.He looked around the room and finally found a map.He cut the map into pieces and asked his son to put them back together.The father was then free again to ignore his son who began to work on the puzzle.To his surprise, his son quickly came back to present the finished map to his father.When asked how he was able to put the map back together so quickly, the son explained that there was a picture of a man on the other side of the map which he used to put the
pieces back to their original places.So, if the man was right, the world would be right.So for our university students, it should be “if your attitude is right, your life would be right”.
