Before my speech, please allow me to make an investigation, and this investigation never means anything malevolent to you.Those who have cheated in your test paper or other exams, please be brave to raise your hands.Wow, I really worship your courage.Cheating in exams, for all of us, may be a sensible topic to talk about.And we cheat maybe for different reasons.However, from my point of view, the reason why people cheat in the exams, including the test paper or the civil service examination, is for nothing else, but for the profit.When I was in the high school, there was a guy who had a bad grade, and he didn‟t study hard at all.Every time, when the exam drew near, he would contact those students who had a good grade and discued with them on how to help him cheat in the exam.There was a thing I had to mention that his father had a rule for him: if he got a better exam result than the last time, he would be given some money as rewards;but if he didn‟t make it, he wouldn‟t get anything.This maybe sounds a little ridiculous, but that was the fact.Thus, in order to get the “rewards”, he would give some other money to those who helped him cheat in the exams.As a result, he got a better grade than that of his own ability, and he also got the “profit”, so as the one helped him cheat.Maybe the example I have used above isn‟t convincing enough.However, when we enlarge our sights towards our whole society, this iue will be perceived more clearly.Take the civil service examination I have mentioned in the beginning of my speech as an example.Nowadays, there are a lot of people who want to become a civil servant, but before they become a civil servant, they have to pa the examination, known as the civil service examination.Yet paing the examination is not a simple thing, and sometimes situation maybe complicated, which maybe have something to do with the relationship in the society.So there are some people, who won‟t pa the examination in the normal routine, taking some special measures called “walking through the „back door‟”.The reason why they cheat is also obvious, for the profit in their later life.I dare say that this phenomenon isn‟t strange for you, and maybe we have already got used to it.And there are other examples of cheating in exams that I am not going to list here.Yes, by cheating, people can surely get their profits.However, when they are cheating, they are violating the rules or laws, or the button line of social morality.I am wondering whether the expense they take really worth the profits they get or not.But there is one thing I know clearly is that in the society of civilization, the policy of our nation is encouraging all of us citizens to pursue a state of civilized life, not a rotten or disgusting one.As a modern citizen, as a college student, how can we allow this phenomenon to continue without control?

Lastly, I think all of us should give a pause to think that have the experiences we cheat in the exams really brought us something meaningful? As a man with morality, we should get the exam result by our true abilities, not by cheating.Because cheating in exams can not bring us real profit, and this behavior actually obey the rules and the policy of the society of civilization.That is my speech, thank you very much for listening!
