Preparing a Speech
It is neceary for you to prepare a speech before giving it.But what should you do when you are preparing the speech? In my opinion, there are six steps that you can follow.First, upon knowing the topic of the speech, you had better think over for several minutes and write an outline for the speech.Second, extend the outline to an article and correct the mistakes that you made in it.Third, read the article that you have revised for times and make sure that you have been familiar with it.Fourth, try your best to recite the article.you can recite it in front of a mirror so that you can watch every detail.In addition, during your reciting you can add some body languages to your speech in order to make your speech more vivid.Fifth, practice the speech before a friend or a teacher and ask him or her to help you find your shortcomings when you are making the speech.Finally, you should dre yourself formally and believe in yourself.If you can follow all of these I believe you will do a good job in your speech.
