The Kite Runner tells the story of Amir, a young boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, who betrayed his best friend Haan, the son of his father's Hazara servant, and lives in regret.The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, from the fall of the monarchy in Afghanistan through the Soviet invasion, the ma exodus of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and the rise of the Taliban regime.The novel begins a story about two boys.Amir is born in a rich family.Haan is his servant as well as close friend.They both lose mother from birth and grow up like brothers.Haan is very loyal to Amir, but Amir sells him.Many years later, Amir has settled down in America for years and established a family, but Haan died for protecting Amir's luxury house in Afghanistan and leaves an orphan.Accidently, Amir gets to know a big secret and decides to atone for his crime that hound around him from childhood.The Kite Runner is an enormous masterpiece and one of the best books seen.At the first place, I have a feeling of being cheated by the writer.The novel first attracted me before because it set its plot in a special environment---Afghanistan which even I often got news about from TV and newspaper;I knew the country utterly ignorant except wars and terrorism.However, to my shock, the novel just uses a special background environment to write the conscience of a sin story, to tell a so-called travel of human nature.I like the part that describes the pure friendship and innocent childhood between two boys.I like the words “For you, a thousand times over” what Haan said to his master and friend Amir at the kite runner.Perhaps most people think Haan aim for all things just because Amir is his master.Haan is only to do his job, even ifa kite runner is also should.However, as far as I am concerned, all the things Haan doing for Amir is to his belief that His respect and praise highly to Amir, especially to their pure friendship.The feelings to Amir is great, pious, and hot for Haan, even if Haan is in rouge violence, Amir not go to aid him, betrayed him and even finally Haan leave home unwillingly Haan hasn’t complaint a little.The attitude Haan to the friendship in some way exprees the human nature.The other hero of the novel is Amir.In fact, Amir is a really hero.The fault he made when he was 12 years old, though many years has paed, Amir has to back to Afghanistan to apologize what he has done wrong.Although many years has paed, Amir is now in America having a well job and high statue, he is still at last making decision make up the sin what he has done.He wants to be a good person.The things Amir and Haan have done expre the human nature, on matter bout the friendship or kind.For me, Haan is worthy of respect, Amir is worthy of forgive.They are worthy of human nature.Now in the rapid development of the economy, science and technology progre, and the material of the realistic society needs sharply, how many people still remember the human nature?
