I haven’t finished this movie yet, and I will never watch it.But I heard that at the end of the movie, jenny went on to study hard, and managed to study in Oxford.It seems a happy ending for jenny through a series of romantic mistake.As a lower-middle-cla family, jenny’s father focused her study hard so that she could live in a rich and happy life.It was a certainly a mistake.Because the strong oppreion it has, the strong resistance it was.So jenny dropped into a trap easily.A rainy day, jenny met with David, the succeful gentleman.Silly schoolgirls are always getting seduced by glamorous older men.Jenny fall in love with him, she loved him so crazy that she would rather to give up her study.Jenny changed, she completely changed.She was no longer that innocent schoolgirl.She followed magical David, involved into high society.She indulged inthat luxurious life which made her lo herself.Unfortunately,that mysterious David was a liar.Although he loved jenny, he was a married man that ruin the life of jenny, and ran away.The life I want, there's no shortcut.I think it is the main theme that this story exprees.I can’t agree more about it.Everything has no shortcut.Every goal needs our effort.This is a good movie which can bring us into a deep though.However, in my view, it ignored something most important.WHAT LIFE DO WE REALLY WANT? ‘But if we’re all going to die the moment we graduate, maybe it’s what we do before those counts.’ Jenny had said she enjoyed the life that she could go to Paris, and to jazz clubs, and ate in wonderful restaurants, and saw wonderful films, heard beautiful music… Compared with this life style, she hated study, because it was so boring.However, the end of the story, jenny restarted to the boring study.I hope study again was the way to the life she wanted but not mean that she gave up what she wanted.Maybe someone consider jenny was peacockishgirl.But why can we look after what life we really want, as MiStubbs enjoyed her simply teaching life.‘My choice is to do something hard and boring for the rest of my life or go to Paris and have fun.’ Please find out what life we want, then take the action.Because ‘action is character.If we never did anything, we wouldn't be anybody’
