A Beautiful Place
Last Sunday I went to Yang Min Shan Park with my parents.It was a sunny day.There were trees and flowers all over the park.The trees were tall and pretty and the flowers smelled sweet.In the park we could see some birds flying up in the sky.An old man was sitting on the bench reading a book and two cats were playing under the bench.Some boys were playing games and some people were taking walks.Others were just jogging around the place.In the afternoon we took a walk along the stream for two hours.Then the stream flowed to the woods.In the middle of the woods we could see a small pond with various fish in it.I like to go to the mountains and I like to see nature, too.I really enjoy the nice day at this beautiful place.I hope I can go there again someday.Beijing Is Changing
Everybody knows that Beijing is changing.From buildings to the public transportation, everything is changing.And Beijing is becoming better and better.Last year, Beijing had held the 2008 Olympic Games succefully and had become the focus of the world.The change of Beijing is inevitable, because China is developing, and the world is developing.The better Beijing changes, the better china changes.Yesterday, the president of U.S.A has come to visit Beijing, which means Beijing has developed better than before.If one day I have a chance, I will develop Beijing to be the best city in the world!
Cartoons
There are many television programs in Hangzhou today, from TV series, quiz shows, soap operas, movies to cartoons.Of all the programs, I like the cartoons the best.For example, Cartoon network, Disney and many others.I like to watch cartoons because they are funny and very interesting, especially when I am sad, tired or bored.I also like cartoon characters.They are so lovely and vivid.We must use our imagination when we watch cartoons.Because they are often exaggerated, so you need to have a sense of humor.I think watch cartoons can give me a lot of energy.Going to the Museums
During a long vacation, I usually like to go to see the exhibits in one of a great many museums, such as the art museum, the history museum, the museum of natural history, and the museum of science and technology.Many wonderful things are exhibited in museums.There are paintings, potteries, sculptures, costumes, swords, prehistoric animal bones and plants, stuffed animals, antique steam locomotives, and many others.It is always a good review of history to visit those museums.I learn a lot in the museums.Library
A library used to be a building with a lot of books and a very quiet place to me.I had never wanted to enter a traditional library because it was a boring place for a child.Since I became a senior high school student, I have more homework that requires me to find the latest information on a topic or some good ideas.So I got into the habit of going to the library, and I can't tell you how
wonderful it is!There are so many interesting books I've never read, including novels and books about science and computers.Most important of all, there are even a lot of famous claic films, which are very popular.Now I also have something else to do when I'm in a library: studying.Studying together with a lot of people is a worthwhile experience.Currently I'm never bored when I'm in a library.I like the library, not only it gives me knowledge, but also gives me happine.
