My National Holidays

We had a seven-day national holiday as usual this year.And I had planned to spend all the days on my studying during the vocation for I was an inter-disciplinary student, and there was a lot of profeional knowledge for me to learn so that I could follow my teachers in the cla.However, the plan was finally a plan.I just studied for two days.Excepting for that, I did many other things which made the holiday much more interesting than just studying.For example, I gave some calls to my parents to exchange our ideas about my life and studies here, which made me quite relaxed.I also watched some movies, such as Resident Evil, Knight & Day, Predator, Inception and so on.I almost watched about ten movies, most of which were American action movies.It helped me a lot about my English.Besides, I also did some washing, cleaning and tidy our room.All the first six days was myself alone, no friends just a computer accompanying me, but the last day wasn’t.On the seventh day of my vocation, one of my friends who had already worked came back from home.She wanted to have a new hair style, so we went to a barber shop near our university.When we met, we never stop talking for nearly a half day as if there were no people around us!The barber surprised.“How long have you known each other?” said the barber.“Let me see …About 5 years.” I answered.“No wonder you are talking all the time.You definitely haven’t seen each other for a long time!” said the barber.My friend and I exchanged timid smiles.After that, my friend treated me in her rented house.I was really impreed because my friend did well in cooking and the dinner was delicious!I never knew that because we usually ate out.I decided to eat once a week at her house.All in all, I enjoyed my National Holiday!
