Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.I feel so happy to have the chance to make a speech.But what I will talk is not so delightful.And here my topic is Live in harmony with nature.It is generally believed that there is a good supply of natural resources.But to our disappointment, the fact is just the opposite.Today，people are discu a very hot iue, how to build a harmonious society.I think our top priority should be to find harmony between man and nature in this new age.For decades, we have concentrated so much on developing modern science and technology that we forget to take care of our nature.However, living in this “new age” , seeing an increasing number of people suffering from natural disasters such as earthquakes droughts and floods,finding the beautiful colors of green and blue are being replaced by that of gray and pale, and realizing that our mother planet is getting more and more unhealthy.We can’t ignore any more.Effective measures must be taken now.First, we should protect wild animals as well as the environment they live in.Second, over –exploitation must be forbidden.At last, try our best to rebuild the environment which has been destroyed.We should always remember that human beings are not the master of nature but protector.I am very pleased to find that now more and more people, from every corner of the planet, have come to realize that harmony with nature is the only way to universal and continuous progre and prosperity.I firmly believe that once we have strived, we can see a harmony world.
