After receiving the college admiion, many senior high school graduates feel excited and have great expectations of college.It’s no doubt that college life is rich and colorful, but college is much more.High school succe doesn’t apply to college.It is a place which marks the transition to the unknown.Students may suffer from depreion and anxiety.So, to survive college life, they should have a strong will and take proper actions.The first step is to adapt to the college life.Many freshmen aren’t ready for college, struggling with the new challenge of living on their own in a strange environment.In high school, their main task is to study and don’t need to pay much attention to the daily life.Their family will help them.To some degree, it makes them lack the ability to take care of themselves and the sense of independence.However, it doesn’t mean they’re doomed for failure when they are the green hand about the newest chapter in their lives.The most important thing they should do is to adjust themselves to the college life.They should be aware that they have grown up and they should learn to take care of themselves, be independent and become responsible for themselves.Furthermore, organize the time.In contrast with the high school, college gives students much more spare time and nobody reminds them to study.Consequently, some students may indulge in computer games.Some just don’t know what to do and how to study.Preparing a daily schedule is a good way to solve this problem.Estimate how much study time each cla will require and calculate personal time.They must find perfect balance between study and play, with study being the top priority.Moreover, they should give themselves deadlines to work for, as waiting until the last minute won’t benefit in college.Don’t procrastinate or cram when it comes to studying for exams.What’s more, managing the money is also important.There are many temptations most students have never come acro.However, each month or each semester, their pocket money is limited by their parents.They can’t spend it without control or they will be broke.To reduce the financial preure, they can take a part-time job, such as being a tutor or a waiter.If they study hard, they can gain the scholarship.In addition to earning money, they should make better use of their money by establish a strict budget and keep track of their money.Avoid impulse buying unneceary things.In conclusion, to survive the college life, students should have a strong will and take proper actions.Be prepared to be overwhelmed and adapt to the college life.It’s natural to feel confused, frustrated, homesick and unprepared.They should also know the way to manage time and money.Finally, they will be the survivor and have a lighthearted college life.
