Good morning,I’m Yuan Wenjie from Wuhan Huiquan Middle School.I’m very glad here to share my speech with you.Today whatI’m going to talk about is Love and Take care of our Nature.Nowadays, nature has been attracting more and more attention of people.No doubt, nature is very important to us.we live on water, breathe air, stand on the earth… All this is provided by the nature.No nature, no human-beings.And we human is also a part of nature.Without nature, we can’t live a day.Thanks to the all kinds of resources generously given by the earth, we are able to survive and develop in the long term.However, today we are facing the greatest challenges of environmental problems throughout the human history.Have you seen the lakes and rivers around you? The lives of fish are being threatened and the quality of water has drop dramatically.Have you noticed the sky? The dust and smoke appears more frequently and effects of the global warming make us live in a uncomfortable environment,Have you seen the lands and forests? Due to deforestation, little green land can be seen and many more natural disasters are taking place.In fact, we are thinking in the way that we can consume all the natural resources and pollute the environment without any consequences.We were wrong.Are we going to continue? Absolutely not!Lives cannot survive without a healthy environment, even more the human society cannot improve and develop without the nature’s support.I strongly believe that it is time to take actions!We have already been talking too much about this iue in the past, but few things were done.Now it is time to change!Reduce, reuse, recycle, I think these are very basic things we can follow in our daily lives.From every single thing we do to protect and preserve the environment, I hope we can convey the meage that this is the social responsibility which every single person has a part to play, simply because it is our home!It will eventually benefit us if we consistently and continuously treat our home friendly.
