“”How Many Children in an Ideal Family “

The Provinical Government of Guangdong has recently introduced plans which would allow each woman to give birth to two babies.This has given rise to some heated discuion as to what is the ideal number of children to be had in a family.I believe that giving birth to two children would be the most desirable situation.Firstly, if parents have two children they won’t need to worry about their children feeling lonely.The two kids can share things together and take care of each other.They can encourage their brother or sister in all aspects of their life such as study, games, and social activities with relatives and other children.A single child tends to be more spoilt by his or her parents and this can lead to later problems in terms of the child’s personal growth and psychological attitudes.Having two children also means that there is not such a heavy burden put upon a single child when the parents become old and need more support.The growing shortage of labor in the Chinese economy due to the declining number of newborn babies would also be countered by this new family planning policy.Thus, having two children per family would offer a greater contribution to the development of our country.To sum up, the advantages for families to have two children can be clearly recognised.This policy would not only benefit the growth of children as individuals but it would also aist the growth of the whole nation.Having two children would be an ideal family for wise parents.
