The character of Robinson Crusoe

Closing the last page of Robinson Crusoe, a sense of enthusiasm fulfilled me.The book tells a story in first person of a man who loves navigation and once was trapped in an isolated island for 28 years.During that time,how did this person survive and create a better conditions of the island.I can’t help myself recall some fine character of Robinson.First,he is such a adventurous person.‘I was born in the year 1632,in the city of York,of a good family,though not of that country,my father being a foreigner of Bremen,who settled first at Hull.He got a good estate by merchandise,and leaving off his trade,lived afterwards at York,from whence he had married my mother.’(CHAPTER 1)When you are in a middle-claed family,or even a rich one,you may pursue a steady wealthy life instead of going navigating.He has all hope on behalf of his noble family.However,he is not satisfied with his planned life.Being adventurous,gives him a flow of libety ,and leads to his another important character.That is his second character,independent and pratical.When he was on the isolated island,he did not give up hope, on the contrary, he made full use of the wreckage in the sinking ship.For example,in order to make bread on his own,he started the busine with growing wheat.The procedures of this long-termed aignments manifested his independence and the ability of manufacturing.Last but the most meaningful one is being optimistic.Put yourself in his shoes,and to be honest,if you were in an island without a single person who you can talk to ,won’t you be mad? As for me ,for all 28 years not speaking any languages ,I must have lost the ability of talking!So I totally understand when he got a parrot,he said to it, ‘I don’t want you to learn how to bring things for,I just want to talk to you.But you can’t.’ Under such situation,he didn’t lose hope of escaping ,he listed all his advantages and disadvantages.Judging the circumstances comprehensively ,he got his own arrangement of living.Like creating a calendar to remember the days,saving the barbarian named Friday,and making some wines to entertain himself.I really appreciate this character and I think for every human being,no matter how terrible the situation is ,never lose hope and look at the bright sides.And now,I close my eyes,the image of Robinson Crusoe appeared in my mind,the independent, pratical ,optimistic and adventurous Great Robinson.
