FG: Yes, uh, I don't know.Sometimes it would stop raining long enough for the stars to come out and then it was nice.It was like just before the sun goes to bed down on the Bayou, there was always a million sparkles on the water...like that mountain lake.It was so clear, Jenny, it looked like there were two skies, one on top of the other.And then in the desert, when the sun comes up, I couldn't tell where heaven stopped and the earth began.It's so beautiful.This is a dialogue between Forrest and dying Jenny.These short sentences just presented the beauty and the sparkle of his life.When Forrest meets the stars coming out in the peaceful sky in Vietnam, when he experiences the best sparkles on the Bayou's water, when he sees the one sky in the water while another on top of it, when he faces the sun comes up in the end of the desert, maybe that's when Forrest figures the meaning of life, the differences between destiny and coincidence.FG: Mama always said that dying was a part of life.Jenny, I don't know if Mama was right or if it...it's Lieutenant Dan...I don't know if we each have a destiny or if we're all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but I think maybe it's both.Maybe both get happening at the same time.But I mi you, Jenny.If there's anything you need, I won't be far away.Look at him and then look at yourself.Do you believe destiny or not? It seems like that Forrest and Jenny meets accidentally, but why can't we call it some kind of destiny? Meet in the childhood, lost in the youth time, remeet in the last days of one's life?
