As far as I’m concerned, life is no more than “shelter”, “pursuit”, “pleasing”，the mainly three things which are not mutually contradictory and instead, are supplement for each other.Recently, I have made a clear blueprint for my future that I would like have “economics, law and management” for the shelter, “literature, history and philosophy” for the pursuit, “smoke, wine and tea” for pleasing.In other word, I do understand that a sound academic economic foundation especially accounting knowledge is eential to my future career.As a Chinese student, I, Fangfei Zhang, who is a senior student in Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, majoring in Public Service Administration, and will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree in July 2014, cordially apply for your Master's of Accounting program at Binghamton University.I’m sure the experience will be a milestone for my academic study journey.My interest in Finance is derived from my family background.My father has established a comprehensive firm in the local place, and the busine involves accounting, judicial appraisal, project cost, tax and other integrated affairs and also participate in numerous of large-scale developing and auditing project;my mother graduated from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics which is one of 211 project and 985 project universities in China and, she obtained her certification for ICPA(International Certified Public Account)in a very early time, and now worked as CFO(chief financial officer)for Shanxi Fuzhuo Energy Co.,Ltd, Grown up in such a family, I was cultivated for the mathematical, physical and other scientific aptitude since a very early age.As proof for that, I have such a good logical ability that I represent my school to participate in National Physics Olympiad in high school, and achieved a very good result.And also what is mentionable is that I acquired CFP(Certified Financial Planner)certification undoubtedly as a sophomore student during my college study.According to the knowledge of Marxist Political Economics which is familiar since childhood, I learned that the Superstructure is determined by the Basis of Economy, from which we can deduce that without economy, a country cannot develop without developing finance industry.No matter government or charitable sector, what’s certain, need talents in finance and accounting badly.I once had an opportunity to take part in a public welfare organization in purpose of care for children left behind in rural area during the period of university study, through communicating with which, I found out that the people are relatively poverty-stricken.I observed the NGO(Non Governmental Organization)for a long time, and I figured out the embarraing economic condition due to the great disorder or confusion of financial management.The problem is extremely serious, such as lack of budget system, no concept of cash flow lead the organization, always have no clear account recording money on hand and what’s worse, the fund usually cannot make ends meet.I paid much more attention and with my limited knowledge of Finance, I formulate a set of financial plan including budget system and accounting information system for them.Since then, the NGO began to be on the right track, and still flourish for now.The experience is so precious for me, not only because I got a strong sense of accomplishment, my determination to further my academic study on Finance but also was strengthened.During my undergraduate period, I did well on my university courses and was awarded Third Prize University Scholarship during 2011-2012 academic year and

Second Prize University Scholarship during 2011-2012 academic years.Four years’ undergraduate academic study has laid me a sound foundation on mathematics which is an important element for my graduate study now as well as the overseas future study.As for my extracurricular activities, except as the volunteer of Shanxi Children Welfare House, I’m also responsible for the reporter station as the stationmaster which is attached to Student Union.I am involved in reporting the latest occurrence with an objective and true coverage of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics so that the majority of teachers and students have a better understand for the development of school.Both of the activities promote my sense of justice and strong communication skill.In the short run, after the succeful completion of my graduate studies, I want to take the exam for CPA and work as an accountant at one of the big four local accounting firms in my country or an American finance service firm for more than three years to learn high quality accounting standards.In the same time, in order to acquire much more busine management experience, I will dedicate to accumulating a stable resource of customers and then start my own international registered accounting firm and I also consider the cooperation with relevant international trade corporation.In the long term, I plan to bring some significant change to the current situation of busine services in my hometown, Shanxi Province where busine consultation services still lack profeionalism and standardization.Maybe more or le 10 years, after I get my career stable enough to engage in public welfare to help more young people in my hometown making their dream come true.Meanwhile, through the study and practice these years, I realized that China is still far behind the advanced countries in the world in this field.So I decided to further my study in the United States, the leading university in this field.Through my study there, I planned to make my own achievements in this field.After a careful consideration and deep attracted by your nutritious academic atmosphere and many famous teachers and profeors, I finally chose your esteemed university to achieve my dream in the future.Therefore, I would be very appreciated with your consideration of my application.Applicant: Zhang Fangfei
